So, a lot of you have been talking about Wuthering Waves' optimization. Let me explain. 5700G (16 MB L3 Cache) + RX 9060 XT (FSR Quality) vs 5800X3D (96 MB 3D V-Cache) + RTX 5060 Ti (DLSS Quality) Note: I even increased the graphics settings on the 5060 Ti to show the difference. Explanation: Both GPUs deliver similar performance overall, but you'll notice higher FPS on the right side. Why? The Ryzen 7 5800X3D's 96 MB 3D V-Cache significantly improves performance in Wuthering Waves, especially 1% lows and overall frame consistency. In my testing, the performance improvement was around 40% compared to the 5700G. One reason is that Wuthering Waves is very CPU-sensitive, particularly in open-world areas. There are also optimization issues that Kuro Games still needs to address. I'm not trying to downplay anyone's PC. I'm simply pointing out that Wuthering Waves benefits a lot from CPUs with larger L3 cache, similar to games like Crimson Desert, STALKER 2, and Black Myth: Wukong. PS5 Performance Kuro Games still needs to improve the PS5 and PS5 Pro versions. Even some demanding games perform better on those consoles, so there's definitely room for optimization. Wuthering Waves PS5 Performance Test • Test Setup PS5 Slim (brand new, clean, no dust) Room temperature: 22°C with AC • Map Issue Yes, it's real. The new map is locked to around 2 FPS when opened from the menu, making it extremely laggy. • Stuttering Problems The game has severe stuttering. In some areas, it even freezes for 4–5 seconds, making the experience frustrating. • My Observation From my testing, the game appears to be running at a very high internal resolution on PS5 instead of relying on aggressive upscaling. For example, DLSS Quality at 1440p renders the game internally at approximately 1707×960 before upscaling it to 2560×1440. On PS5, however, it looks like the game is rendering at or near 2560×1440 internally and then upscaling to 4K. If that's true, it's an extremely demanding target for a base PS5. • Is This Fixable? Yes. If the game is indeed using such a high internal resolution, lowering it and using better reconstruction or dynamic resolution scaling could significantly improve performance. Running at such a high internal resolution on a base PS5 doesn't make much sense, and the game has suffered from performance issues for nearly 12 months. • Final Thoughts Kuro Games needs to address this. At this point, we can't keep blaming players, their hardware, or the engine. If the high internal resolution is the cause, it should be adjusted. There are two things worth pointing out about upscaling in #AssassinCreed Black Flag Resynced. 1. Incorrect resolution scaling with Balanced and Performance modes: Using Balanced or Performance with any upscaler causes the game's Resolution Scale (output resolution) to drop, which also lowers the internal render resolution. As a result, these modes apply incorrect scaling and the image quality is noticeably worse than it should be. For now, the workaround is to set the Resolution Scale to 100% and manually adjust the Max Dynamic Resolution (internal resolution) to match the expected scaling for Balanced or Performance mode. 2. The game defaults to the older DLSS 3 CNN model: By default, the game uses the older DLSS 3 Preset E. While it's still a fine option, it doesn't match the image quality of the DLSS 4 Transformer model (Preset K) or the newer DLSS 4.5 (Preset L and M). So I highly recommend forcing at least Preset K through the NVIDIA App (or another tool). Even on RTX 20/30 series GPUs, with Preset K, you can maintain the same performance as before while getting better image quality by using a lower upscaling mode, like Balanced instead of Quality. Hopefully Ubisoft Support fixes the scaling issue and adds an in-game option to choose between DLSS 3, DLSS 4, and DLSS 4.5.

Monster Hunter Wilds big performance patch is out on PC. I spoke with the user who originally discovered the DLC bug and they confirmed that it seems to be fixed. More improvements I noticed from some quick testing (continued): • Better 1% lows for smoother gameplay with less hitching and stutter • Lower VRAM usage (10+ GB -> 7.5GB) • Higher FPS in some cases • CPU optimizations • High res texture pack is actually usable now • Lowered the install size by 45GB with texture pack • Some users report that their new frame rate WITHOUT FG = old frame rate WITH FG • More graphics options to tweak Overall, this update seems to have done the trick. Still not 100% perfect but MUCH better than it was before. The recent Steam reviews have also been very positive so it seems that most agree. Another patch is coming in February with even more optimizations for both PC and console. Here’s my written & video review of the new 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance after driving it for a week. This is the best-value new Tesla you can buy. Crazy performance, no real drawbacks, and all for just $57,490. Let’s dive in. Price: I haven’t seen many others mention this: every option on the Model Y Performance is included at no extra cost in the US (except FSD). So if you spec a Model Y Premium AWD with an upgraded paint color, tow package, white interior, and upgraded 20" wheels, a fully loaded Model Y Premium AWD ends up only about $2,500 less expensive than a fully loaded Model Y Performance. Ride Quality: I thought I might feel worse ride quality vs my Premium AWD Model Y with 20" wheels, but I struggled to find any real difference, despite the larger 21" wheels, firmer suspension setting, and 0.6" lower ride height on the Performance trim. A true testament to Tesla's engineering magic on this thing. Exterior Design: Unlike the previous Model Y Performance, Tesla made some exterior design tweaks with a new front and rear fascia to spice things up a bit. The result, in my opinion, is the best-looking Model Y trim you can buy. It definitely has a more aggressive presence in person, even if it's subtle. The carbon-fiber spoiler boosts high-speed stability and cuts aerodynamic drag by 10%. The new 21’’ Arachnid 2.0 wheels look fantastic in person, one of my favorite designs ever from Tesla. Staggered wheel and tire fitment provides better grip and steering. The beefier 275mm rear tires (255mm in the front) give the vehicle a better stance from behind. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): For the first time on a Model Y in North America, you can now plug in anything you want to the exterior charge port with an adapter, even a campsite! It provides up to 2.4 kW of power (120V at 20A) from two household outlets. It's a great feature. Interior: It’s what you know and love, but with a few changes that elevate the ownership experience. New with the Performance is a larger 16" center screen (vs. 15.4" on non-Performance models), with thinner bezels and higher resolution. It’s not a huge difference on paper, but you definitely notice it in daily use. The carbon-fiber décor on the door cards and dash is a nice touch, though I would like to see it extended to the center console. The new performance seats are the best seats of any Tesla I've ever experienced. While they retain aggressive bolstering in the torso area, the bottom seat cushion has less aggressive bolstering than on the Model 3 Performance seats, making it easier to get in and out. It also doesn’t squeeze your thighs too tightly. The powered thigh extenders add comfort on longer drives, especially for taller people who want extra support. And of course, they’re heated and ventilated. The headrests also feel more comfortable than the ones in my Model Y. I want these seats. Unlike the old Model Y Performance, the new one has no Track Mode. Why? Because nobody used it lol. No point in putting engineering resources into something people won’t use. The refreshed Model 3 Performance still has it, though. Cabin Quietness: Despite the thinner-profile tires, there is no noticeable difference vs my Premium Model Y. Decibel reading results at highway speeds were visually the same compared to my 2026 Model Y Premium (65-66). Driving Impressions: It’s amazing. Sharp, precise, and agile. The vehicle feels stable at all times. Acceleration is blistering (3.3s 0–60 mph), with plenty of punch even at higher speeds. The tires offer good grip, and cornering is fantastic for an SUV. The suspension setup is great. More steering wheel feedback would be nice, though. Cruising around traffic is a joy. The brakes are much improved over the previous Model Y Performance and are far better suited for spirited driving. There are three acceleration modes: Chill, Standard, and Insane. Just stay in Insane. You’d be insane not to lol. The car also lets you switch between two ride and handling modes: Standard and Sport. The difference isn’t huge, but Standard is better if you’ve got passengers. FSD: I unfortunately wasn’t able to get FSD V14 on this car. It had V13.2.9, so I didn’t use it much. But in the little time I did, it was smooth and comfortable. It didn’t bother me because V14 will perform just as well here as it does on my 2026 Model Y Premium AWD. Conclusion: You won’t find another new SUV today that offers this level of performance for the price. Back in 2022, when Tesla couldn’t build Model Ys fast enough, a fully loaded Model Y Performance cost over $90,440. Today, the refreshed and far more capable 2026 Model Y Performance is just $57,490 fully loaded, and you can simply subscribe to FSD for $99/month. The 2026 Model Y Performance delivers utility, great performance, comfort, tech, self-driving and everything else people love about the Model Y. It’s a no-brainer purchase. I want one badly, but I'll need to show restraint, as I’m saving up for a house lol.

Here's my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.3.1. It feels polished vs 14.3 and it my opinion is ready for wide release. • With 14.3.1, you can now tap on the new "P" parking icon and bring up your different parking options • Mad Max mode on the highway feels slightly more conservative with top speed (favors low 80s more often), but will now get to the right lanes sooner to prepare for exiting the highway. In this first drive, Mad Max did not go above 83mph, despite no cars around me most of the time. Follow distance is also more comfortable. I like all these things. • I'm having zero brake stabbing issues on 14.3.1, whereas I had a couple on my first drive with 14.3 • Urban lane selection is better vs 14.3 • Navigation routes and occasional parking alignment still need some work, but that's not a reason to hold back wide release. It still surprises me how much quicker V14.3 reacts to things. If a car pulls out of a parking spot as you drive by, FSD hits the brakes before you even know what's going on. The 20% better reaction time is definitely noticeable.

In my opinion the greatest Dragon ever put to film is Smaug from the Hobbit franchise by WetaFX. It is the most real looking and feeling Dragon I have ever seen. The incredible team at Weta spent a lot of time iterating and developing the character to make it what it is in the final film, even changing his design after the first film was released with a small snippet of Smaug in his previous form (they went back and re-rendered that snippet for the digital release of the first film to keep it consistent). He was changed from a 4-legged Dragon to his final form which is technically a Wyvern. He was voice acted and given reference performance capture by Benedict Cumberbatch which proved to be helpful for the animators at Weta. I have never worked on a Dragon before but it is definitely on my wish-list of creatures to work on one day as they are my favourite fantasy creatures. I highly recommend taking a look at how he was made in the below links, it is truly inspirational the level of detail and craftsmanship that went into making him. Metal Gear Solid Delta is poorly optimised on all platforms and it's disingenuous to use it as indicative of typical PS5 Pro advantages. Even in its infancy PS5 Pro's often delivering on Cerny's target of it achieving PS5 30fps mode like fidelity, only at 60fps. Numerous tentpole games this year show sizeable improvements. Battlefield 6 Beta - "Substantially" better IQ and up to 55% better fps than PS5 in performance mode. Assassin's Creed Shadows - Generationally tansformative RTGI/fidelity mode settings, but at 60fps. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Fidelity and graphics settings of PS5's 30fps mode, but at 60fps. Metal Gear Solid Delta is poorly optimised on all platforms and it's disingenuous to use it as indicative of typical PS5 Pro advantages. Even in its infancy PS5 Pro's often delivering on Cerny's target of it achieving PS5 30fps mode like fidelity, only at 60fps. Numerous tentpole games this year show sizeable improvements. Battlefield 6 Beta - "Substantially" better IQ and up to 55% better fps than PS5 in performance mode. Assassin's Creed Shadows - Generationally tansformative RTGI/fidelity mode settings, but at 60fps. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 - Fidelity and graphics settings of PS5's 30fps mode, but at 60fps. HANGZHOU SIGNING AND SALES MEETING SUPPORT · PART 8 | 350 DRONE FORGING PERFORMANCE The idea of preparing a drone support for you has actually sprouted quietly as early as last year's birthday. We wanted to light up a night sky that belongs to you on that special day. However, at that time, limited by funds, geography and implementation conditions, this wish has never been realised. Since then, before every meeting in China, we have tried to promote the landing of drone support, but we have always been stranded again and again by multiple factors such as venue, approval and time. In fact, we never imagined that you would come to the scene in person. Originally, we planned to issue a support announcement on the day of the performance, invite Hangzhou offline Paca to watch, and start the live broadcast synchronously, so that more online Paca can witness it together. But the day before the performance, we received a notice from the organiser that you may clock in according to the schedule. At the same time, we were specially told not to release any support information in advance. Because the performance site is located in one of the landmark areas of Hangzhou, the flow of people is dense, and government activities will be held near the performance site on that day, the size of the crowd and the order of the scene must be strictly controlled. In order to avoid any possible negative effects, we finally decided to record and release with aerial images after the drone performance. It's rare that it's not a red-eye flight when we came to Hangzhou this time. It was almost six o'clock in the evening when we landed. We thought that your trip would be very busy today. You had to check in at the hotel, eat, and prepare for the next day's work, so we never expected that you would really appear. But you still came. First Impression About Neverness To Everness CBT This will be a long or short one and I mostly have plenty of good to say about the game so far and some bad. First I want to get out the way: Graphics In short, we already know its good! But this is definitely playing some part on performance on my end and it wasn't entirely bad experience at all just some fps drops here and there but its playable and 90% of time it was smooth so the performance issues is a easy fix (apart from some I've seen have already started having crash issues so it'll be different for all of us depending on your specs) I'm well in range of the specs so if I'm having some small issues that mean whoever has worse specs will have it worse. Performance/Optimizing the game etc is not something that should be ignored anyway and most of the time developers of recent time feel like they don't care about improving it, I hope NTE by release or during the test will fix the issues by then (crash problems etc + its day one of the test anyway) Second: Combat Just like wuthering waves, the games combat is fun (I still think it can benefit more on having more effects/impact frames etc to really nail the combat experience...) I know people have compared some characters to WuWa characters as "plagirism" but most part alot of characters in the game have their own charm and uniqueness to the combat The boss enemies also may have some unpredictable patterns and can put alot of pressure or aggression on you but isn't exactly too hard thankfully! But its still great because I like how fast pace and intense the fightings are when your in the boss fights Common enemies don't have much going on for them. Third: Story Unlike Genshin and Wuthering Waves the story for NTE or Neverness to Everness is actually more "Human" one of my viewers described it as and I actually agree, I'm not saying WuWa nor Genshin storytelling is bad but the way NTE tells its story is more morden and you can easily be engaged with it and understand everything clearly! The story is also pretty goofy and just like zenless they have great animations and (VERY) expressive with their animations which makes for great overall experience and I prefer this storytelling the most out of other games. (this is a personal preference) The gacha system is some sort of board game but the game gacha is F2P friendly?(For now for what I've seen) and there's no 50/50.. I was also almost able to max out alot of characters that aren't S rank in almost a day too Thats all so far, I'm still experiencing more as I go but this sums up my 5 hours so far into the game on stream and would love to see y'all in the next stream tomorrow. After I reach 50 hours or more I will do a video in conclusion about the game and what more I would love to see. TDLR: The game is good/great don't worry, just some small stuff that can make it better or some stuff that need fixing (despite the combat plagirism drama that was going on)
