In 2017 I had the opportunity to make an Uncle Grandpa guest director short. I tried to keep it simple but it spiraled out of control into something pretty fun and awesome. I wrote, designed and animated the whole thing in 7 months while working on #ballmastrz thanks to @pbgardt

Motion graphics never seem to be easy, but it definitely helps if I can try to keep my focus on basic, solid design, rather than trying to showcase a bunch of fancy After Effects tricks (of which I know exactly zero, haha)

I think Claude Design is very useful for building prototypes. I one-shotted a simple, AI-powered, gamified life-management app with a very minimal prompt. I haven't tried the slide design yet, but it looks like it could be the perfect tool for ELI5.

changed how I design with AI. I show how to build faster by adding a design system directly into the prompt, importing any website URL to get a strong starting point, then polishing everything in my own style. I also mix it with components and skills to keep the design consistent and more unique. GPT-5.5 cloning websites is honestly crazy good. The result can get very close to the original, then you can refine it and make it your own. Full breakdown in the comments.
