Data encryption is now live on Veilnet. Available in @veilnet/mcp-server@0.3.0. MCP is an absolute game-changer. (Together with DeepSeek, MCP is probably the hottest thing in AI over the last 6 months.) I use Cursor to write code 90% of the time. I built an MCP server to connect the Cursor agent to GroundX, an open-source RAG system, and I'm not going back. This is officially insane! Here is what I did, step by step: First, a little bit of context. I maintain an end-to-end Machine Learning System with several pipelines to process data, train, evaluate, register, deploy, and monitor a model. I've written a lot of documentation explaining how the system works and how to modify and maintain it. There's also the documentation of the few libraries I used to build the system. I'm a massive fan of GroundX, an open-source enterprise-grade RAG system you can run on your servers or deploy to any cloud provider. I've been working with them for a long time. GroundX offers two services. First, the "ingest" service uses a custom, pretrained vision model to ingest and understand your data. I used this to process all the documentation I have for my code. Markdown files, source code, HTML files, and even PDF documents. Everything I've written related to my project went into GroundX. Their second service is "search," which combines text and vector search with a fine-tuned re-ranker model to retrieve information from the data. I needed to connect Cursor with this service, and that's where MCP came in. I built an MCP server with two tools: 1. The first tool would go to GroundX and retrieve the available topics. Splitting the data into topics (or "buckets," as GroundX calls them) allows me to use the same setup to serve documentation from different topics. 2. The second tool would search GroundX under a specific topic for the context related to the supplied query. The magic happens after connecting the MCP server with Cursor. Now, I can ask any questions related to my project, and Cursor's AI agent retrieves the list of available topics from the RAG system and then searches it to provide relevant context to the model. I went from getting mediocre, sometimes wrong answers to 100% truthful, complete answers. Here is the crazy part:

Claude Code is now scary good at full-stack! I asked it to build a real-time weather intelligence dashboard with an interactive 3D globe and a forecasting layer that predicts weather 3 days ahead. It came back with a spinning globe that has a day/night cycle using NASA satellite imagery, city lights on the dark side, weather icons that switch between sun and moon based on local time, and a time travel slider that scrubs through 10 days of data. Claude Code built the whole thing in a single session, including the backend, database, data pipeline, and frontend. For the database, I needed something fast for time-series workloads since the app ingests hourly weather readings across many cities and serves time-range queries on every slider interaction. I used Tiger Cloud by Tiger Data - Creators of TimescaleDB, which gives you managed TimescaleDB on the Postgres you already know. Claude Code connected to it through the Tiger CLI MCP server and set up the entire backend directly: - Provisioned the database service - Created hypertables for time-partitioned weather storage - Set up continuous aggregates for pre-computed rollups - Built the data ingestion pipeline and the full NextJS + ThreeJS frontend The time travel slider queries thousands of rows on every position change. On a regular Postgres table, this would require manual partitioning and index tuning to stay fast as data grows. TimescaleDB partitions the data by timestamp automatically, so each query only hits the relevant time chunk. Continuous aggregates serve the trend charts and forecast layer from pre-computed rollups instead of rescanning raw data on every request. The video below shows the final build in action, and I worked with the Tiger Data team to put this together. Loop engineering is great until something breaks. Here is how I improve the reliability of my agentic loops. I use human-in-the-loop (HITL). It's easy and extremely effective. Anyone can build this. My setup: I recorded a quick demo of how it all works. I shared recently that I now use more voice agents to build and communicate with agents. I also use them to verify. I hate the idea of being tied down to my computer or in a Slack channel to communicate with my agents. Here is what I have done to streamline communication with my agents. All my Claude and Codex agent sessions now use the Dial MCP server. It has a bunch of tools and provisions my agents with their own number that can place calls as native tools, with voice, SMS, and iMessage behind one interface. As my loops/automations work on PRs and new features, my agents escalate decisions to me via a short phone call. This is extremely useful when I am on the road or away from my desk. OpenClaw has 186K GitHub stars and 1.5M compromised API keys. I needed a secure alternative. So, I built it with n8n and Claude Opus 4.6. It can already: - Reply to your Telegram messages - Access selected folders from your laptop - Access Gmail, Drive, Notion, Linear, etc. - Install new local tools in a sandbox - Run autonomously for hours - Create multiple subagents - Learn from experience - Wake up regularly But, unlike OpenClaw, it: - Can't access your API keys - Can't modify its environment - Can't access folders you haven't shared - Can't access tools you haven't approved - Must get your confirmation, e.g., when sending emails These aren’t prompt instructions. They’re hard architectural boundaries — Docker isolation, mounted folder permissions, n8n’s tool approval system. Key components: ✅ The VPS on Hostinger hosts n8n and a sandbox container. Agents can also connect to my laptop's sandbox via a Claudeflare tunnel + Desktop Commander MCP. ✅ The Manager agent is the brain. It plans, decides, delegates, and talks to the user. The technology involves an extraordinary inventive step, in which cloud is created from a mathematically secure network of nodes. The nodes run as part of the Internet Computer network ( but are selected and configured by the cloud engine's owner. — The frontier cloud provided by engines is strongly focused on enabling AI agents to build and update online applications and services for us. The world is changing fast, and nearly all new online apps and services are already being built with the help of AI, and thus cloud engines target the future of cloud. — Software hosted on cloud engines is tamperproof, which means that it is immune to infrastructure hacks, because it runs inside a mathematically secure network protocol, rather than on computers directly. This means that AI agents, and those building with them, don't need to have a security team in the loop, or to trust someone else's security team. This is crucial, because in the future, non technical people will demand the freedom to build with full automation — where they just need to issue instructions to AI about what to build, and don't need to worry about anything or anyone else. Of course, apps and services running on engines are also vastly safer from the new breed of hacker being enabled by frontier AI. (The cloud engines themselves are also "tamperproof." In addition, cloud engines now support nodes that are instances running on Big Tech's clouds, in addition to nodes that are dedicated specialized hardware, as per the Gen I and Gen II nodes that dominate the Internet Computer today. We are also working on allowing blob storage nodes to be added to cloud engines, to enable sovereign mass blob storage within an engine, similarly to how AI nodes can be added currently. — Lastly, but certainly not least, I should mention that cloud engines are multi-blockchain capable, and ready for digital assets, thanks to the clever math at their core. For example, an e-commerce service built on a cloud engine can securely accept and custody stablecoin payments, or a multi-chain DEX could be hosted. Further, engines can support software autonomy (software orchestrated and controlled by other autonomous software, in a decentralized way) and can themselves be orchestrated by SNS technology, and thus run autonomously too. Today, though, the focus is on *mainstream* cloud. This year, the cloud industry will generate approximately one trillion dollars in revenue. That number is already huge, but is expected to grow to two trillion dollars by 2030. After years of continuous development, which have seen more than $500m spent on R&D, the Internet Computer network is now tacking directly toward this mainstream cloud market with cloud engine technology. In their first version, cloud engines are not meant to be a cloud panacea. For example, currently they are not ideal for working with big data. You should use something like DataBricks for that. Cloud engines are carefully targeted at enabling AI to produce traditional online applications and services, including SaaS, in a safer and more productive way, which represents a new market segment with tremendous potential.
