We are facing coordinated attacks by criminal gangs who are exploiting ungoverned spaces in the North West and North Central, but the government is not folding its arms. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered intensified operations in the affected corridors, including the deployment of special forces, expansion of intelligence networks, and disruption of the ransom economy that funds these groups.
