[UNDER INVESTIGATION] An investigation is underway regarding an incident (with video circulated on various social media platforms) whereby a SAPS Constable allegedly assaulted a member of the public. The incident is said to have occurred on 02 April 2026, at the Volksrust Police Station. It is worth noting that in light of the serious allegation, the SAPS has instituted an internal investigation to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the incident. In addition to the internal investigation, a criminal investigation is also underway to ensure all aspects of this matter are addressed transparently. The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has been notified of the incident and it is expected that a parallel investigation will be conducted by this Directorate.

A guy who is reportedly a former CalTech mechanical engineer, who has a master’s degree in computer science from CalState, and did a research fellowship at NASA decided to take a train ride across the country and the best plan he could come up with to kill the President was charging a checkpoint with a couple guns? He also reportedly had a room booked at the sold out hotel so he likely planned this attack for long time. It's certainly possible that he's just another mentally ill leftist but I feel like a mechanical engineer could have come up with a better (worse I suppose...) plan with that much time. NASA ARTEMIS II MISSION UPDATE The crew and Orion are approximately 94,117km to the Moon, they're also just over 350,000km away from Earth. They're also travelling at a speed of approximately 2,523km/h, this will start to increase as the lunar sphere of influence takes a hold of the crew and Orion later today. Approximately 41.8% of the mission has been completed. Currently the crew is into the Orion Crew Survival System Suit Developmental Flight Objective (OCSS DFTO) operations, which is essentially a simulated emergency onboard the spacecraft and involves the OCSS suits being donned along with the crews strapping themselves into their seats and the cabin pressure being dropped to 10.2 PSI. This of course is one of many extremely important objectives that is being performed during the duration of this test flight around the Moon. OTC (Outbound Trajectory Correction) burn #3 is also still planned for later today, this is very much subject to change though if NASA decides to skip this burn also. According to the administration, the helicopter, operated by Himalayan Services, was en route from Jhala in Uttarkashi to the Sersi helipad when the pilot decided to make an emergency landing at Agastyamuni as a safety precaution amid deteriorating weather. It has been extremely disturbing to witness the latest incident at Saskatoon's Centennial Collegiate, where a young graduate recently appeared to have had her Palestinian keffiyah scarf ripped off by a staff member during her graduation ceremony. We have seen so much anti-Palestinian racism in recent years, particularly on campuses and inside graduation ceremonies such as these, where any reference to Palestinian culture or identity is conflated with ideas of terrorism and violence. This is the hallmark of anti-Palestinian racism that must to addressed and held accountable throughout all institutions in Canada. We are reaching out to all parties involved in this disgraceful incident. We will have more to say as the situation evolves.

Police have Main Street blocked off with caution tape for the second time this week. This time officers have firearms drawn. A Nantucket Police officer just said they may be dealing with someone who is armed and dangerous. “We were at Club Car having dinner and the police told everyone to leave as there is another bomb threat for Main Street,” one witness told the Current. The Gaslight was also ordered closed by public safety author totes. On Tuesday, a bomb threat incident on lower Main Street similarly prompted a heavy law enforcement response to the area, where officers blocked off streets, closed businesses, and prevented pedestrians from walking on the sidewalks.
