As of this morning, this guy has deleted everything about “cancer” from his TikTok page but forgot to remove his bio and GoFundMe link. This boy was allegedly scamming people here and on TikTok. I’ve never seen a scam go this far even creating a GoFundMe to make it look real. Thankfully, I screen-recorded his page last night. Frame 1: screen record from last night everything still visible. Frame 2: this morning all posts suddenly gone. Frame 3:his gofundme and that one is still up and active Since yesterday, he has stopped taking my calls and replying to my DMs. From the GoFundMe, he claims to live in Asaba, Delta State with his aunt. Is there anyway he can be gotten to ? He needs to answer for this and refund everyone he scammed

A former colleague who actually afforded flight tickets had to go by road cuz the airline cancelled his flight and he had work emergency to tend to. The guy and the cab driver are dead as we speak. I also had my flight cancelled three fucking times from Benin to Abuja, then I decided to risk it and use an airport taxi from Benin airport to Abuja by road after the third time.. Meaning paradise isn’t even guaranteed for you… and we’ll both be in the same place at some point. So what exactly am I converting for?” He asked for proof. I showed him. He said, “No, it means pass by, not enter.” I said, “Alright, let’s go deeper.” I pulled up the Arabic, the tafsir, and what scholars said, everything lined up. At that point… silence. This brother started searching for an escape route. 😭 Then I asked him: “So after all the struggle on earth, you still go to hell first before maybe making it to paradise… does that even make sense to you?” He replied, “I can’t question Allah. He is all-knowing and merciful.” I said, “I hear you… but deep down, does it make sense?” He paused and said, “I need to do my research on that… i am not a scholar, and haven’t come across it” And I’m like, wait… but you memorized the Quran in Arabic but you’ve never come across this? 😅 That’s when it hit me: a lot of Muslims can recite the Quran perfectly… but don’t actually understand what it is saying.

This morning I drove into ABC place Waiyaki way as I needed to do some shopping, as I got out of the car I heard someone shout “Baba, Baba” I turned around and a young man straight away came and hugged me. He looked and me said Baba do you remember me, it took me at least two mins but I realised who he was. This goes back some 20 or more years ago when I was a frequent customer or should I say furniture at a place called Tropicana or Gypsy’s in Westlands this boy was a teenager and together with his very very young two siblings would be there selling njugu or asking for handouts. I recall asking him why would they be doing this late past midnight and he said so they could help their mother and also try get money for fees. I did not realise what I did then, but I began helping him with frees for many years and these boys would take care of my car and even of me when I would walk out very late in the night. They had became a part of that area and the security of Gypsy would even allow them to do this extra work as I would tell them these boys aren’t the usual chokoras who will steal. They would watch over customers cars and I would support them. As time passed I grew out of that life and moved on and we never met again, even the place closed down but my nickname as most of my closest childhood friends, the waiters and everyone who I associated with still remained BABA and to date they call me BABA, and why? because I “USED” to be a die hard Raila Odinga supporter 😂😂😂. The boy told me he looked for me for a long time as he always wanted to thank me and finally we met today as he was getting to work , he told me he sent his family back to Kisumu where he helped his little brothers to complete their education and believe it or not today he is a head chef at the Seven Grill & Lounge ABC place. Good people see how hard work, honesty and focus pays. This is my boy Victor and today I am an extremely proud man.

Today, aside a Christian brother giving me free food, something genuinely beautiful happened to me again, and it left me thinking, if only we were this religiously tolerant, Nigeria would be a far better place. I live in a block of four flats. I am the only Muslim, the other three residents are Christians. Two of which are married, one is a bachelor like me, hustling and figuring life out. One of my closest neighbors is Isaac. We live on the same floor. He is married with two kids, in his late 30s, while I am in my 20s. We talk a lot and we banter endlessly about politics and football despite our age gaps. I am a die-hard Barca fan, he is a Madrid fan. I am Pro-El-Rufai, he was a Peter Obi supporter, who is now tilting towards Tinubu in the next election. So you can imagine, there is always something to argue about between us, and we enjoy it, but what we both agree on is Tinubu didn't treat Mallam fairly (Although he believes Mallam should have handled it better, I always told him it’s because he didn’t know the background that’s why he think so). So, Yesterday we were discussing Christmas plans. During Eid, I hosted a barbecue in my apartment, so we were talking about how Christmas would be done in his place. He told me he would like to invite me over to eat Christmas food with his family. I gladly accepted because I am somebody that loves to party, and every christmas since in the Uni we go out and have. A few moments later, since he mentioned that he bought a ram, I hesitantly explained to him that while I could eat the food, I could not eat the ram (I hesistated because I didn't think he will get me). He paused for a moment and asked why. I explained to him that in Islam, certain prayers must be recited before an animal is slaughtered for the meat to be permissible. Eating meat from an animal slaughtered without those prayers is not allowed in Islam. He then asked out of curiosity, why I would eat the chicken but not the ram. I was honestly shocked and deeply impressed. In that moment, I thought to myself, if only more people were this respectful and tolerant of other people’s faith, Nigeria would be a much better place. (It was later in the day that I saw Bashir Ahmad, OON’s post of Albani, that you can actually eat the meat even if it wasn’t slaughtered by a Muslim) The point I am trying to make here is, an average Nigerian Christian would have taken offense the moment I said I could not eat his meat, all he will hear is AVERSION, without respect for my faith and beliefs but not Isaac, he chose to respect my faith, and choices without taking offense. Surprisingly, Isaac is from Plateau State. He was born and raised in Delta, lived briefly in the UK, and then returned to Nigeria. I am writing after dancing “Oble.....Obleee.....Obleeeee” in my compoud with my christian neighbors. Nigeria will be a good place to live if we learn to tolerate one another and genuinely respect our differences.

Today, aside a Christian brother giving me free food, something genuinely beautiful happened to me again, and it left me thinking, if only we were this religiously tolerant, Nigeria would be a far better place. I live in a block of four flats. I am the only Muslim, the other three residents are Christians. Two of which are married, one is a bachelor like me, hustling and figuring life out. One of my closest neighbors is Isaac. We live on the same floor. He is married with two kids, in his late 30s, while I am in my 20s. We talk a lot and we banter endlessly about politics and football despite our age gaps. I am a die-hard Barca fan, he is a Madrid fan. I am Pro-El-Rufai, he was a Peter Obi supporter, who is now tilting towards Tinubu in the next election. So you can imagine, there is always something to argue about between us, and we enjoy it, but what we both agree on is Tinubu didn't treat Mallam fairly (Although he believes Mallam should have handled it better, I always told him it’s because he didn’t know the background that’s why he think so). So, Yesterday we were discussing Christmas plans. During Eid, I hosted a barbecue in my apartment, so we were talking about how Christmas would be done in his place. He told me he would like to invite me over to eat Christmas food with his family. I gladly accepted because I am somebody that loves to party, and every christmas since in the Uni we go out and have. A few moments later, since he mentioned that he bought a ram, I hesitantly explained to him that while I could eat the food, I could not eat the ram (I hesistated because I didn't think he will get me). He paused for a moment and asked why. I explained to him that in Islam, certain prayers must be recited before an animal is slaughtered for the meat to be permissible. I have seen some people circulating a 2017 screenshot, claiming that I am lying and pretending when I say that Baba was my friend and that I was like his daughter. In 2017, we were on different political sides. Like in any heated political contest, many things were said in the course of political banter, something both Baba and Uhuru openly acknowledged and apologised for, including on behalf of their supporters. From November 2018, I began working closely with Baba, shortly after his appointment as AU’s High Representative for Infrastructure Development. At the time, I was with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), and our office supported his role. I was also part of his 2022 campaign, and in 2024 he personally appointed me into his AUC campaign team. Over a period of 7 years, I had the privilege of learning directly from him. He gave me numerous opportunities, travelled with me across Africa and beyond, and allowed me to sit in high-level meetings that shaped my perspective and growth. That was Baba! A man who never judged me by my tribe or my previous political positions. He saw my potential and gave me an opportunity. He often expressed how proud he was of my work and my convictions. The last time we spoke was on 8th October 2025, while he was still in India, a week before he passed on. I even made a post about that conversation on the same day. That was Baba…my friend! So, to those trying to twist this story to fit a convenient political narrative I will ask, WHO TOLD YOU? Do you claim to know me better than Baba did? And isn’t the same Ruto you now support the one who once called Baba all manner of names? Did he ever publicly apologise the way Baba and Uhuru did? What exactly explains this selective memory, this hypocrisy and these double standards? All in all, yesterday I was in Kisumu, and was so overwhelmed by the love that was expressed. On the way to the rally, so many young people kept calling me by name and saying how much they love me for supporting Baba. Others were even calling me msichana ya Baba. This is the real ground!

I was in Madison Square Garden to witness the Rangers win the Stanley Cup in 1996. I was at Shea Stadium in 1969 and in 1986 to see the Mets win the World Series. I have been blessed beyond words to see sports magic happen live. What I witnessed on Wednesday night from the back row of the Garden was miraculous….absolute magic that will live in my heart forever. To be able to share that with my two sons and daughter in law was beyond beautiful because I was able to watch them experience something I have known in my soul since my 11th birthday on October 16th 1969. Everything is possible. Dream big. Never give up hope. Believe in the impossible and make it happen. Go Knicks. You are a team for the ages.
