Since I've started working on Surface editor I've barely had time to play, so here is full 2v2 match, yep still fun. Elite bots could use better director at this point. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame

Beautiful

Thanks man!

This game looks amazing! What game is it? 👀

Thanks! Divergence: Fracture, arena tactical skirmishes. if you want you can wishlist it here or you can download and play current version here also additional info here:

looks nice.

This looks sick

2v2 still looking fun,we’re building around 3v3 ourselves, so it’s always interesting seeing how different team sizes change the experience.

Honestly core idea is for this to work 1v1, however most unique mode is 2v1

Ooo I like this style

It looks so good!!!!

Thank you! :)

It's wonderful. Truly a battlefield.

Pretty cool looking skirmishes here!

It's hard to work on a project when there is not enough funding.

This looks great

Thank you :)

Have you ever heard Star Battles in the Starcraft 2 arena? It had a HUGE community. It was an arcade game with the styling and game play just like yours. But it was a 6v6 moba. As Playercounts in SC2 decreased over time so did Star Battles im sure lots of people remember it.

Okay, checked, seems like bit more RTS/Moba"y" rather then direct ship control

Oh for sure. Its MOBA style for sure for the gameplay style. Ship control and teamwork was key to victory.

Yeah but I mean, if I see it right, it's classic moba control wise, click to move, not WASD with simulated physics, etc, right? Either way, looks fun!

Yup thats right. Click to move from what i can remember. Its been a while 😅 Your game just reminded me of it :)

Oh, this... I like this. Wishlisted immediately, and will be checking it out on discord for sure.

Much appreciated! :)

Wow looks amazing

Thank you :)

A full match exposes pacing problems that isolated mechanic tests never will.

I still really enjoy how much this looks like falling frontier, though I imagine this will be a much more approachable and arcady game by comparison

Not sure about Falling frontier but this requires direct ship control in Newtonian physic enviro (tho with dampening) and simulates projectile penetration and destruction of internal modules. Come play right now tho! :)

Oh yeah for sure! The way you play the game is completely different as FF is an rts, I’m mostly speaking in terms of aesthetics (especially with how the asteroids are placed it’s very similar to the first gameplay clips of FF)

Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, FF is looking great and I will definitely grab when playable! I just gotta keep making clear it's another genre all together as from short clips it's not all that apparent :)

Oh yeah I get that, earlier when I said it was more approachable I meant exactly that. People often have a much easier time doing something with direct control as opposed to something like an rts (especially something that is seemingly slower paced like FF)

Fair! Seriously, give it a spin and let me know, most of the feedback I am getting is about high skill ceiling and required APM to get there, however it also seems that after bit of learning curve it clicks with ppl fairly well.

Yeah I’ll for sure check it out later when I get a chance, maybe this weekend or so

Brilliant!

The 2v2 readability is strong—the engagement circles make the front line easy to follow even with the asteroids. For the elite bots, are they overcommitting, or failing to pressure the exposed side?

Well, one thing for sure, they are nowhere near as effective at reply spamming X as your bot.

Well I wish you luck sir! Sorry to hear about that

Brilliant...

Master class Solid game though. Hope you’re enjoying it!

How about chocolate cake recipe? Then I am even going to click your profile, engagement stonks for recipe, let's go.

Ngl .. cake sounds delicious. Let’s go! Followed for the love of the grind. Ever want to help a fellow gamer out, my game lacks 2v2 but it’s great when short on time!

This is not "low effort" bot, it's "no effort bot"😭 even dead internet is not what it used to be...

You should look at a game called stellar impact. Not sure how its doing now since i played it ages ago and it was dying. Pretty sure there is a group that still plays on sundays. I loved that game.

That one was mostly RTS no? Fleet combat

Nope stellar impact was a ship moba

Yeah but controls were click to move and aim was automatic (outside of abilities), nope?

Yeah it played similar to league

It looks nice!

reminds me of bubble tanks

Ah man this looks great! But Epic game store and no steam?
