Living here in Singapore, we are aware of the woke mindset in the west and how it has truly messed up the situation. The fact that we can’t have a good conversation without people feeling offended… that limits us to the kind of conversations we can lead. How can we create an impact if people get offended so easily.

In other words: stop being so sensitive and grow a pair. The world is not your day care.

Singapore gets so much right. The government understands the root causes of problems and implements laws with sufficient penalties to deter undesirable behaviors. Littering, the ban on chewing gum, feeding pigeons and stray animals. Same applies to gateway crimes. Well-calibrated legal measures and a low tolerance for “feels”
