NEW: Florida man who went missing on Valentine's Day, found 10 days later in "quicksand." The vehicle belonging to 36-year-old Andrew Giddens was found near Vulcan Sand Plant. After finding his vehicle, authorities had a very difficult time finding Giddens because he was covered up to his neck in mud. Giddens had been without food and water and had experienced freezing temperatures for multiple days. According to local reports, it took about three hours to finally free him from the mud. "[Rescuers] have to take extra precautions to make sure they don’t get stuck in said material," said Putman County Sheriff’s Office Major D. Ussery. But here is the incredible part: The people you see in the water didn't wait for 911. They were workers and customers. The doors wouldn't open (water pressure is no joke). Earlier they were desperately smashing the windows while the car is bobbing like a cork. Finally they managed to pull her out through the broken glass just seconds before the SUV completely disappeared underwater. She is alive. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. If those guys hadn't been there eating lunch, this would have been a recovery mission, not a rescue.

There's no overstating how extraordinary such a statement by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is, warning Israel it's heading towards "strategic defeat": "In this kind of a fight the center of gravity is the civilian population. And if you drive them into the arms of the enemy you replace a tactical victory with a strategic defeat." Essentially saying what is obvious common sense: you create more Hamas than you destroy by killing civilians. And as such what Israel has been doing so far is nothing but dig the hole it's in deeper and deeper... After, obviously, it's doing all this with Pentagon weapons and support in a myriad of ways, so Austin's words are pretty disingenuous... BUT they see Israel as their "unsinkable aircraft carrier" in the region so they must feel that were they to stop this active support it'd "sink" pretty quickly, which they aren't ready to do.
