EVAN explained how he got the scratch on his arm. 🐹 : are you asking if there's a wound on my arm? ah... to tell you the story behind this, there was a time when i woke up around 9:00 am—no, wait. was it waking up at 10:00 or waking up at 9:00? there was a time like that. i rushed to get ready. i washed up, took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, and dried my hair. but since my hair is bleached, i have to apply treatment and other hair products, so that process takes a really long time. 🐹 after doing all that, i rushed out. but somewhere along the way while i was rushing out, i got wounded without even realizing it. yeah, so you guys don't have to worry too much. i've already applied ointment and everything, so you don't need to worry.

I designed this a long time ago in hopes one day we'd build our own widget platform! But it ended up fading away. We then made it for personal use so we can quickly test things locally without SE. It's all front end for now though, but could be a start! Some parts are still a bit scuffed because it was just for of our own testing purposes, but I'd improve the UI and user experience if we were to make it public one day. We are exploring options on how to even make this possible but we're doing our best to find solutions, even if it's not this 💜

They’re working two and three jobs just to keep up. In the U.S., 40 percent of workers do not have $400 for an emergency. Now put AI on top of that—the insecurity that we are all experiencing, the fact that people are waking up and some new technology is landing in their jobs without training and without having a say. Of course they’re going to be anxious and feel insecure about what the future holds. And so I really think we need to stop and ask, “Who are we doing this for? What are the results we want? And how do we get there?” We get there by including workers in the process. They shouldn’t have to be at the end of the cycle. They should actually be upstream.

I lay in bed the other night and I started thinking about everything I’ve lived through — every president, every war, every cultural shift, every mob story I was in the middle of. So I sat down and I wrote it all down decade by decade. JFK’s assassination. Vietnam. Joe Colombo getting shot. Halloween night, 1975. The Commission trial. Doing my time. 9/11. The Sopranos finale. COVID. Right up to today. Some of it’ll make you smile. Some of it’ll make you angry. All of it shaped who I am. Consider this my thank you to all of you who’ve been with me on this ride. And if you’ve been around long enough, maybe it’ll bring back some memories of your own.
