Siskel and Ebert review VISION QUEST in 1985. “Two Thumbs Up!”

How "Lunatic Fringe" is not a tunnel walk song for any team is beyond me. It so set the stage for that final scene.

For guys of a certain age, Linda Fiorentino was second only to Phoebe Cates.

Check out PRIVATE SCHOOL.

Rewatched it yesterday. JC Quinn’s Pele monologue is epic. It stands up over time.

Watching now because of the Anniversary. Will be balling shortly on the Elmo scene.

The movie and Soundtrack are one for the ages. I carry it in my heart.

Just want to say a simple thank you for giving us this character, Matthew. It still motivates and inspires me to be the man I am today. It resets and grounds me about life & my passions, ambition, family & love. Wind is a favorite of mine too.

Vision Quest is one of my top ten favorite 80s movies.

Seeing your posts these last couple of days- I found it on prime and watched it again today. It’s a 2 day rental- so I imagine I will watch it again. 😂

Great movie. Fantastic soundtrack. In today’s Hollywood, I’m glad they never tried to remake this one.
