The Optimus 10m/yr Factory at Giga Texas construction makes noticeable progress every day, with the steel structure hard to ignore from everywhere on the site and the highway as it grows ever larger. On the S end, the land reclamation work and extension of the site continues too, along with footing construction now at the N angled corners of the foundation! Check out the scale of one column being installed with humans for scale to get a better idea just how large this factory truly is!

Crews are moving quickly on a critical water feeder main leak in east Calgary. I’m out here on 17 Avenue S.E., just west of Cushing Bridge. This is an important pipe. It helps move water from west to east across Calgary and supports reliable water service in east Calgary. The good news is the leak has been isolated. There are no disruptions to water service for homes or businesses, and we haven’t seen any environmental impacts. Crews are out here right now, assessing the pipe and figuring out exactly what needs to be done to repair it. We’re moving quickly because we need this feeder main back in service before the planned Bearspaw South Feeder Main shutdown this fall. You’re going to see some traffic impacts here on 17th Avenue. One eastbound lane is closed, and there will be some pathway detours. Please slow down, follow the signs and give our crews room to work. I wanted to come out here and show you exactly what’s happening. As we learn more, I’ll keep you updated.

While early morning crowds at the EDSA People Power Monument are visibly smaller than Tuesday’s turnout, organizers expect a massive influx of participants later in the day. Several rallyists spent the night camping at the site. Unlike yesterday’s unauthorized assembly, the INC has secured a formal rally permit for today from the Quezon City government. Where do I even begin? Do you guys remember Mr. Charles David, who was attacked during the guber election at Allen Avenue and needed surgery? At a time we thought the leg would be amputated. We came running to Obidients and well meaning nigerians to help save his leg and today he is walking. Thank you all so much for making this miracle come through, thank you to God. Crews are working around the clock to keep District roads safe and accessible. • The snow team is addressing over 4000 road miles in the District • Roads are 85–90% navigable by car • Ice hauling operations are underway at the RFK site • New heavy equipment, including Bobcats, is being deployed • Crews are clearing curb corners and intersections to break apart hardened ice, ensuring safer crosswalks and curb-to-curb access Thank you for your patience as we continue addressing the impact of repeated plowing and freezing temperatures.

All night, a rescue operation continued in Kryvyi Rih at the site of a Russian missile strike. A ballistic missile struck an ordinary hotel. Just before the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization – citizens of Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom – had checked into the hotel. They survived because they managed to get down from their rooms in time. Unfortunately, four people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. In total, more than 30 people were injured, and all have received the necessary medical assistance. Many civilian buildings around the hotel were also damaged. Rescue workers are still on-site, and all emergency services continue to operate. I thank everyone who is on duty these days and nights, working and serving to save lives. My gratitude goes out to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the National Police, medical workers, emergency responders, and all those whose work helps save lives. There must be no pause in the pressure on Russia to stop this war and terror against life.

Unfortunately, the ongoing heavy rains have significantly hampered operations, particularly across the river section. Just yesterday, world-renowned sculptor and architect Maya Lin oversaw the final installation of "Seeing Through the Universe", a site-specific stone sculptural water feature that includes an upright oculus with misting water through the center, accompanied by a flat “pebble” that fills with water and cascades over, inviting visitors to touch and interact with the piece. Stay tuned for seeing the water get turned on soon! We can't wait for you to come sit in this peaceful section of parkland, which is named after President Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham.

AS I get ready to head off to Europe for a few weeks to attend the Tesla Club Austria Takeover Europe event, Here is an extended snapshots video clip showing a site absolutely brimming with activity. Today is also a rare production day to make up for the holiday on Monday. Cybercabs all over the place today, exiting the factory, driving in the outbound lot for transport pickup, many with their hatches open prepping for final inspections and more! The refreshed Tesla Semi with extended cab removed at the Crash Testing facility today too! Construction in 4 major sites is really moving along today too, including more steel erection at the N Optimus factory site, and the extension ground reclamation work continues to progress. The E Advanced Tech Chip fab shows more earth preparation and Cortex 2 part 2 of the cooling system getting 4 of these 6 fan units installed while more Megapacks have arrived and are being installed. The SW Test Track is also getting work done on it, with some new excavation work and pipe installation along with new concrete curbs. So mush more to see today and I hope you enjoy this slightly loner snapshots look at the factory today. See you in a few weeks!

Earlier this the morning myself and Regional Head, Billy Sepuru made a turn at the Daarspoory tunnel in Ward55, in Region 3. We were informed of potholes that have surfaced there and a circulating video of some of our TMPD officers fixing potholes. What we found is what appears to be a water leak which spills into the surface which had over time, damaged the part where the officers were trying to fix. Whilst we appreciate the gesture from our TMPD personal, it remains the duty of specialised personal to do civil work. We’ve escalated the matter to teams to investigate the source of the water leakage and ensure potholes team is on site by Thursday Once again, thank you to team TMPD for quickly filling the gaps which could have been harmful to motorists. Here is an update about my health and some info about a fun event to participate in, happening next month: As many of you will know, Tour de Cure is an organisation very close to my heart. On Sunday 9th November they will be hosting their inaugural Step Out for Cancer event in Sydney. This event is in support of the new Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre and, as well as raising vital funds, it’s also about celebrating the opening of a world class facility that will help save the lives of children with cancer. The event has a 6km family-friendly walk, going pitch side and behind-the-scenes at Allianz Stadium and the SCG; and 5km & 10km run options housed at Randwick Racecourse with exclusive access to areas closed to the public on race day. Your favourite teams - Sydney FC, Sydney Sixers, GWS Giants, Roosters and Rabbitohs – will be activating along the route and there will be a post event finale with music from Furnace and the Fundamentals and The Voice finalists, as well as entertainment for the kids. On Sunday 9th November they will be hosting their inaugural Step Out for Cancer event in Sydney. This event is in support of the new Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre and, as well as raising vital funds, it’s also about celebrating the opening of a world class facility that will help save the lives of children with cancer. The event has a 6km family-friendly walk, going pitch side and behind-the-scenes at Allianz Stadium and the SCG; and 5km & 10km run options housed at Randwick Racecourse with exclusive access to areas closed to the public on race day. Your favourite teams - Sydney FC, Sydney Sixers, GWS Giants, Roosters and Rabbitohs – will be activating along the route and there will be a post event finale with music from Furnace and the Fundamentals and The Voice finalists, as well as entertainment for the kids.
