Gas prices spiked, the Strait of Hormuz was weaponized, Iran survived, public opinion turned, and the people who promised him a quick win delivered a disaster. Now, Trump is publicly lashing out at Netanyahu, JD Vance is criticising Israeli strikes in Lebanon, and Israel has issued restrictions on its operations in southern Lebanon. That is NOT nothing. Joe’s read is that Trump has realised Israel keeps trying to suck him back into the war, and he’s finally pushing back. But Israel isn't finished. Joe believes the more pragmatic faction inside Israel may understand that they pushed Trump too far, and their next move won't be another immediate escalation, but patience.
