Testing Seedance 2.5 with an intense monster chase sequence. Generating a 30-second video with synchronized audio in a single pass already feels like a big step forward. What impressed me most is the consistency—visual style, characters, and environments stay coherent, making it much easier to extend a story across multiple scenes. The only downside is that I could only test it in 720p for now. Looking forward to seeing what it can do at higher resolutions. Really excited to build more cinematic projects with this model. I have been wanting to test performance transfer in Seadance 2.5 since launch, now I have, I am really impressed by the results. I wrote a short script and recorded myself giving a rallying speech as an orc warlord, then fed this and an image of the orc into Seedance with this prompt "A cinematic close up of an orc warlord giving a rallying speech to his army of orcs. Transfer the performance, movement and audio from Video 1 onto the the character Image 1. Do not add any music" I didn't prompt the dialogue or performance in text. The first video you see is a a final cut of the video, the second is the final cut of the video with my video performance. As you can see it's not an exact like-for-like transfer of the performance and voice but more a interpretation by Seedance. It's made my amateur performance better IMHO, more fitting with the creator but retain the essence, nuance and context. So you don't have to feed in a long prompt to get good performance out of your AI actors you can just show them what you want with a video! I used Seedance Enterprise on bytedances lumina platform Lumina link in the comments!

Seedance 2.5 Test 480p - 720p I created a fight scene in a Chinese donghua style. For my prompt tests, I usually generate 5-second clips at 480p just to see how the style and overall look turn out. Interestingly, action scenes look cleaner at 480p. At 720p, they become noticeably blurrier or noisier, even though both were generated with the exact same prompt. The timing also seems much more consistent across generations now. Seedance 2.0 wasn't following timestamps reliably, so I rarely used them back then. With 2.5, I have started using timestamps again. I upscaled the 480p with Topaz. What do you think? Also you can check the prompt below.

This might be the best synthetic performance I have got from a video model. We can generate 30-second shots and create near seamless extensions (with a bit of post blending) for far longer sequences, powered by Seedance Enterprise 2.5. I set out to test this out by making the scene below all-in-one shot. I wrote the script, built the character references in Seedream and then broke the script down to two 30 second prompts. The prompts were really detailed with pauses, gestures and emotional shifts and the model delivered on all of them. I was really impressed with the performance and voices which were generated in the model. Previously, AI film scenes had to be composed of short cuts, now we have options on pacing, and nuance... we can let our scenes breathe. All this done with only around 3 rolls per take, we have left the slot machine age of AI video Gen behind and are now in the age of control. Next for me will be testing real actors performance as a reference to drive the generation. Seedance 2.5 API is about to launch on BytePlus , and Lumina will also roll out Seedance 2.5 soon.

🚨 Just dropped my latest video! The Day $DOG Broke the System (Extended) How I created this video: First I created the starting image using Midjourney. Generated some dope static shots, then used 'frame to video' in Veo 3 to animate them and add that extra life. Also used Kling ai to create a couple of shots. Trial and error: We're talking dozens of Veo 3 clips. It's like hitting a slot machine.. pull the lever over and over till you score the jackpot shots. Patience is Key 🔑 my friends! Epidemic Sound for the music: Raided their huge library for the epic tracks. Selected two tracks and a few sound effects. Editing magic: Once I had all the pieces, I stitched them together in DaVinci Resolve, my fave video editing tool. 🐕💥🎬

I was curious whether Hollywood movies were actually used in the training of Seedance 2. I couldn’t resist experimenting with my favorite movie. I gave it the first frame, and the rest was done by the model. To my surprise, it even added almost the same music as in the movie. My verdict: Hollywood movies were fully used 😂 P.S. Please forgive me if my experiment seems unprofessional; it really is. I’m just playing around, but I can watch this battle endlessly.

I created this short last night, using my personalization settings in the new MJ v7 along with the new dynamic camera options in #Ray2 The camera moves you can get are next level. I used the new Actor Mode for voice and Dreamina AI for impressive lip sync. It's been incredible building a film studio with Promise. It forces me to stay on my AI filmmaker grind and try out the latest and greatest toolstack. Images upscaled in Magnific.ai and videos in Topaz Labs Edited in Adobe Premiere.

It was truly a blessing for me and my wife to travel with The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square to Brazil. I am grateful for this assignment as it is something I never dreamed of doing. Accompanying the The Tabernacle Choir in my home country, in the very city where I grew up, was an incredible experience. These concerts were invitations to come unto Christ, the true source of hope. It was truly a blessing for me and my wife to travel with The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square to Brazil. I am grateful for this assignment as it is something I never dreamed of doing. Accompanying the The Tabernacle Choir in my home country, in the very city where I grew up, was an incredible experience. These concerts were invitations to come unto Christ, the true source of hope. I am thankful for the Choir and Orchestra for sharing their talents with thousands this week in Brazil and around the world.

FIRST TEST Seedance 2.0! From my initial tests, this is one of the more impressive AI video models I’ve tried so far. Dynamic motion feels fluid, prompt adherence is solid, and the efficiency really stood out, very little iteration needed. Everything you see here was generated using just one reference image + one prompt. I also tested a 3×3 image grid with no prompt at all, and the results stayed surprisingly consistent.
