Sky Ecosystem expanded well beyond DeFi yield to build something more robust. Across the Sky Agent Network, twelve independent capital allocators deploy USDS into diversified yield strategies, creating the foundation on which Sky Governance calibrates the Sky Savings Rate. No single strategy. No single venue. No single market condition...

Introducing Zest Protocol Stacks Vaults, Automated yield strategies for Bitcoin-native finance. Launching alongside the stacks.btc Bitcoin Staking upgrade. Stacks Vaults mark the evolution of Zest Protocol from a lending market into yield infrastructure. Until now, earning optimised yield on Stacks meant actively managing positions across markets, moving collateral, monitoring rates, and rebalancing by hand. Stacks Vaults changes that: deposit a single asset, select a strategy, and the vault handles the mechanics in the background. This is the yield toolkit for Stacks. Every yield source in the ecosystem becomes a strategy that can be automated and offered as a single-deposit product. The first vault is a levered Bitcoin Staking vault, built around the liquid staking Bitcoin token Stacking DAO launches with the Stacks Bitcoin Staking upgrade. How the levered Bitcoin Staking vault works: 🟠 One deposit, one position. Deposit BTC, sBTC, or stBTC directly into the vault. You hold a single position while the strategy runs itself. 🟠 Automated leverage. The vault uses your stBTC as collateral to borrow sBTC, stakes the borrowed sBTC into stBTC, and repeats the process. Target yield: 6 to 8%, purely derived from Bitcoin Staking on Stacks. 🟠 Non-custodial. The vault contract can only execute strategy actions on Zest Protocol's lending markets. It cannot move funds anywhere else, and only the user can withdraw their position. No one, including Zest Protocol, can access vault assets. 🟠 Built on live lending markets. The vault runs on Zest Protocol's existing markets: two years in production, over a thousand liquidations processed without bad debt. 🟠 Continuous monitoring. Zest Protocol manages the strategy and monitors the position automatically. No manual rebalancing, no juggling markets. 🟠 First of many strategies. The stBTC looping vault is the first, not the last. STX-based strategies, stablecoin and credit-based strategies, and structured yield products can all be built on the same foundation. External curators will be able to manage their own strategies on Stacks Vaults. Lending markets were the foundation. Vaults are what gets built on top. Stacks Vaults launch alongside stBTC, right before Stacks Bitcoin Staking goes live. Note: Stacks Vaults are separate from Bitcoin Collateral Vaults, Zest Protocol's upcoming flagship product that allows users to borrow against native BTC on any chain (e.g. Ethereum). More updates on Bitcoin Collateral Vaults follow shortly. Follow Zest Protocol on X or subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when levered Bitcoin Staking goes live.

The album is taken from the Trident Studios 1/4” stereo tapes dated 15th December, 1971, which were created for the then provisional tracklisting for what would become THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS album. The tracklisting for WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STARMAN CAME TO EARTH) runs differently from the ZIGGY STARDUST album and features four songs that didn’t make the final album. On Side 1, in the place of ‘STARMAN’, one of the last three tracks recorded for the album in February 1972, is ‘ROUND AND ROUND’, a Chuck Berry cover. The track was finally released on a single as the B-side to ‘DRIVE-IN SATURDAY’ on 6th April, 1973. Initially, closing Side 1 of the album was Bowie's version of Jacques Brel’s ‘AMSTERDAM’, which would later appear as the B-side of ‘SORROW’ on 12th October, 1973. Side 2 of the 15th December, 1971 tracklisting features two long-time non-LP fan favourites, ‘HOLY HOLY’ and ‘VELVET GOLDMINE’. The former is a re-recording with The Spiders of David’s 1971 single. Again, this version of the track had to wait several years before surfacing as the B-side of ‘DIAMOND DOGS’ on 14th June, 1974. ‘VELVET GOLDMINE’ is considered by many to be a lost Ziggy era classic, one Bowie often referred to as ‘He’s A Goldmine’ or ‘She’s A Goldmine’ in his notebooks and interviews. The track was recorded during the Ziggy sessions but was not released until 26th September, 1975, alongside ‘CHANGES’ backing the re-released album version of ‘SPACE ODDITY’, which peaked at no. 1 in the U.K. singles chart in November 1975. The cover of WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STARMAN CAME TO EARTH) features a photo of David taken at an early Ziggy Stardust period session by Brian Ward, and the two sides of the inner bags are the fronts of the two Trident Studios tape boxes. The album’s title comes from the lyrics of ‘STARMAN’, which, along with ‘ROCK ’N’ ROLL SUICIDE’ and ‘SUFFRAGETTE CITY’, had not yet been recorded when this variation of the album was compiled. WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STARMAN CAME TO EARTH) was cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics from 192kHz restored masters of the original Trident Studios master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer. The half-speed vinyl cut was by engineer John Webber at AIR Studios, London. What is Shiba Inu’s Shibarium? Shibarium is the Layer 2 network built around the Shiba Inu ecosystem, designed to make transactions faster and cheaper than using Ethereum directly. Shibarium moves much of the activity away from Ethereum while still using Ethereum as its underlying settlement layer. SHIB itself remains an Ethereum-based token, separate from Shibarium, which is a distinct chain built to support the wider ecosystem. (1) It is designed to reduce transaction costs for Shiba Inu users and developers, making frequent onchain activity more practical. (2) It gives developers a dedicated network for building Shiba Inu ecosystem apps, including DeFi protocols, games and other Web3 applications. (3) ethereum:0x9813037ee2218799597d83d4a5b6f3b6778218d9 serves as Shibarium's gas token, its governance token through the Doggy DAO, and the asset validators and delegators stake to secure the network's proof-of-stake consensus. (4) Shibarium is also designed to expand the utility of the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem by moving activity beyond simply holding or trading $SHIB. (5) A portion of Shibarium's base transaction fees is converted into SHIB burns, an active mechanism running since block 6,206,570 that links network usage directly to SHIB's supply. Shibarium is the infrastructure layer intended to support a broader ecosystem of applications and onchain activity. As adoption grows, the key question will be whether Shibarium can turn its large community into sustained network usage.
