Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. President Trump is being duped on polling numbers about the popularity of War with Iran and does not realize it. CNN released a clearly fake or cherry picked poll saying that almost all of MAGA supports the War. This could not be further from the truth. If you think it is, go ask a few MAGA people in your actual life their thoughts on the War. A lot of them are strongly against it. But both the mainstream media and the neocons around President Trump want him to believe these numbers. The left leaning mainstream media want him to believe these numbers because the longer this war goes on, the better it works out for Democrats in upcoming elections. The right leaning mainstream media want him to believe it because their biggest donors are very pro war in Iran. The neocons surrounding him want him to believe it because then they can have the war in the Middle East they have always pushed for. I do not think President Trump is playing 4D chess with this war. I do not think he is super pro war. I do not think he cares about the Middle East that much. I just think he is being manipulated by the people around him and he does not realize it. The best thing for President Trump and the country as a whole is that he recognizes how unpopular this disaster is, corrects course by getting the United States out of involvement, and fires anyone who has lied to him about polling around him. Now to be clear, I do think there are many in MAGA who are suddenly pro this war, but that is just the people who would believe the sky is green and grass is blue if President Trump told them to. That does not represent the majority of the MAGA base. As always, I am not the holder of truth. This is just my assessment of the current situation.

And it is thought out. I grew up in India, in a Hindu society. I never saw anything like this. This is not what Hinduism is. Whether you like it or not, Hinduism is part of every Indian's life. We grew up on Sunday morning Ramayan at 9 AM. The festivals of Diwali and Holi. The idea that good wins over evil. And so much more. It was simple. It was moral. It was universal. It belonged to all of us, even those of us who weren't Hindu. We had our own religions, our own prayers, but that moral code was shared. It was in the air we breathed. This is what is being hollowed out. Not just a religion, a common inheritance. That Sunday morning feeling. The idea that there is such a thing as good, and that it wins. Hindutva has taken that and replaced it with a truck, thousands of men, and women performing a sexual dance. This is Hindutva's deep perversion. Everything you have ever known has appeared inside it: body, thought, memory, fear, love, color, sound, time, identity, desire, pain, God, doubt, the idea of death, the idea of “me.” Nothing is known outside consciousness. When I watched that video, a woman convulsing in pregnancy, I felt my heart splinter, just a little, because I have stood in that room before, and I have fought that fight, and I have watched a shaking body argue with death. It is never sudden. It only looks sudden to those who arrive at the last sentence without reading the earlier chapters. That lifeless stare, that chaos of limbs, that trembling cry, it is the final paragraph of a story that could have been rewritten much earlier, and much more gently.
