Good evening, CustomsNG. I’m writing to congratulate your hierarchy on securing their latest lucrative deal with smugglers in Owode, Ogun State. Loaded with rice, the vehicles in the appended video were released from Idiroko to Owode by Customs officers Ajao and Najeem Akorede. But they were blockaded last Wednesday at the Owode International Market by 13 Customs Hilux vans. After eight days, the 13 Hilux vans have finally left Owode but without a single bag of rice. Not one! Multiple sources have since told me the vehicles, estimated to be more than 1,500, are set to smuggle the 97,500 bags of rice (that’s over 4,875,000kg at 50 kg multiplied by the usual 65 bags per car) from Owode into Sango later tonight. They say the smugglers have this clearance because they have ‘settled’ Customs. And I have no reason to disbelieve them: I personally became aware of the apprehension of the vehicles on Friday, and I have since been patiently awaiting Customs and their PR blogs and newspapers to announce this largescale seizure of rice, to no avail. We are all governed by our algorithms. Mine is dominated by animals, Iran, Gaza, Donald Trump and Cole Palmer. You’d be confused by my feed. Especially the Cole Palmer Plantagenet haircut memes. However, many have missed the IRGC in Iran boasting of their two day murdering spree in January killing 95,000 innocent Iranians (their numbers, not mine), simply for protesting. We have shared why this happened. We have shared that it is still happening. We have shared that students across Iran - incredibly and bravely - are still protesting. Right now. Despite the threat of a bullet to the head. Yet - in addition to missing it - they do everything to deny it. They say nothing about the mass extermination but all of a sudden say “NO to war in Iran.” Without any knowledge of the plight of the people of Iran over the last 47 years. Without any understanding that Iranians have attempted liberation many times and failed because there was never a level playing field. Bare hands Vs military grade weapons usually leads to thousands dead and an evil regime still in power. The people of Iran DO NOT want war. They want the machinery of repression to be stopped. And in the case of the IRGC, forcibly stopped. Because their crimes against humanity will not stop if no one stops them. It will continue, regardless of any ‘deal’ negotiated with the US administration. This is not Saddam Hussein 2003. Iran does not have nukes that could reach us in 45 minutes. I just loved this video - featuring household items to scale - shared to IG by WalkInLove. It was the Apple mouse that got me. Or maybe the fact that this little one is roughly the height of a Barbie doll. So tiny. But cherish (and document) these special moments while they last, because you won’t have a little baby for long. Children’s growth and development in the early years is positively exponential. Over the course of a single year, infants transform into verbal, mobile toddlers, typically tripling their birth weights. So quickly is your baby growing, in fact, that between their second and sixth months many increase their height by up to a quarter inch PER WEEK (1 inch per month). You’ll only have a tiny baby for the blink of an eye. So make each moment count.

The International Students from Nepal allegedly beaten up, 'forcibly' asked to vacate campus despite upcoming exam in a few days. Without tickets, without food, they have no clue how to reach home. They cannot even inform their parents as they will be worried. They have exams coming in one week. Reportedly a third-year female student from Nepal had ended her life by hanging in her hostel room following an alleged harassment by another male student from KIIT on February 16. LIFE ON MARS? 45 IS 50 - WATCH 4K UPGRADE “To the seat with the clearest view...” With the many celebrations posted today, you’ve no doubt noticed that 22nd June 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the Life On Mars? single. The song was originally released on the Hunky Dory album at the tail end of 1971 and by the following year Bowie had answered his own question by finding some Spiders on the Red Planet. According to music press reports from the time, the single was issued due to the overwhelming positive audience response to the song during the current 1973 tour. Ironic then that Bowie didn’t perform it at Hammersmith on 3rd July when the single had entered the top five of the official UK charts. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on this 4k upgrade of the Mick Rock directed promotional video over on YouTube: A word of warning for those of you used to the oversaturated previous versions of the video, you’re in for a bit of a shock. This upgrade has finally been colour corrected to something approaching reality. Those of you who saw the Life On Mars? suit at the David Bowie Is exhibition will recognise that this version is a far more accurate representation of the original colouring. The Russians are now trying to make their attacks more intense. We in Ukraine fully support the American proposal for an immediate ceasefire. We’ve already tried many different formats – ways to stop the fighting, to stop the killing. We have spoken and offered Russia silence in the skies, an end to missile and drone strikes against civilian infrastructure in general, and specifically, a halt to attacks on the energy sector. All of this was violated by Russia. And in a very cynical way. Not a single day has gone by without their terror against civilians. Not a single day have they given us real, complete silence on the frontline. And the root cause of this war is simply Russia’s desire to control the lives of its neighbors, to subjugate them, to kill them. If not for that, there would be no war. It is extremely important that Moscow is beginning to feel the pressure of the world, the pressure from the United States, the threat of tougher sanctions for continuing the war.
