I learned to do that for flank steak, are recommending it for all cuts?

This reminded me I had a flank steak in the fridge. Just made fajita bowls with flake steak, onion, bell pepper, corn, mushrooms, black beans, shredded cheese over rice. Cut against the grain of course!

The difference of cutting makes a huge difference in the bite. Cutting with the grain makes it like its not tender at all

Now do it for a fully cooked corned beef using a commercial food slicer

It's shocking how many folks don't know this basic technique. Especially on skirt/hanger/flank. It makes all the difference.
