Slowly mastering Affinity Designer and it's transforming my workflow, especially for detailed shapes & vector lettering. Trying to get that Procreate organic feel with vector power. Has anyone else started to use the Affinity products as their main design tools?

Yup. Designer still may be missing a few things, and it's UX could use some love, but I keep coming back to it because it's such a joy to use for vector drawing. Opene Illustrator today (to use AstuteGraphics tools) and it jsut feels like a chore compared to Designer.

You can either add an outline FX to it or expand the stroke to an object by going to the layer menu.

I do like Affinity Designer on the ipad. I use it for doing vector art on the go. For my everyday vector work I use my desktop mac with Vectorstyler. It's got all the features missing in Affinity Designer and is improving all the time. Vectors can be copied & pasted between

With the new Claude integration, you can build your own tools in Affinity via scripting and vibe coding. I’ve already made a few that significantly improve my workflow. Might release it later — after some more testing.

The exchange wasn’t quite over. Setmayer accused Trump of having an “affinity” for Putin. “Anyway, so Donald Trump's affinity for…for Vladimir Putin versus the way he treats Zelensky, who's the one who’s fighting for—” Jennings cut her off mid-sentence. “Did he show affinity to them when he just arranged for the arms to NATO?” Abby Phillip tried to rein him in, but Jennings wasn’t finished. “Sorry, Abby. We’re saying things that do not exist in REALITY.” “He just got NATO to do hundreds of millions of dollars of lethal weapons to Ukraine. What affinity to Russia is that?! It’s crazy!” Phillip tried to let Setmayer finish. “Let me just let her finish so I can even understand what point she’s trying to make.” Jennings added with a smirk: “Good question! Me too.” And just like that it was over.
