“The focus should be on supporting small and medium enterprises. The reason is simple: these businesses, and the women and young people that own them, are the backbone of Africa’s economy. But they shouldn’t remain small and medium, they need to grow.” President Kagame | Biashara Afrika 2024 #AfCFTABA24

#WATCH | Satna, Madhya Pradesh: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi says, "Big industrialists do not provide employment. Small traders who run small and medium businesses, who are into small and medium scale manufacturing, who run shops, these people provide employment... There used to be lakhs of small units... who gave employment to our youth. When the BJP and PM Modi government came into power, they started an attack on these units. They attacked small traders, and small and medium businesses with demonetisation and GST. GST is not a tax. It is an attack on farmers, small traders and businessmen. It is a weapon to finish small traders..."

The California government’s socialist policies and regulations are crushing small businesses and chasing them out of our state. Our state should reward small businesses and entrepreneurs, not punish them.

Albany Democrats, guided by Kathy Hochul, have buried New York’s small businesses under layers of suffocating regulation. Jobs are fleeing, entrepreneurs are quitting, family businesses are closing, and working families are paying the price. As Governor, I’ll cut the red tape and let workers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs breathe again.

Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy. My opportunity economy agenda will increase capital for minority-owned small businesses to help aspiring entrepreneurs start their businesses and strengthen our communities.

Our Administration has worked to increase access to capital for women and minority-owned businesses. We have seen record growth of Latino-owned small businesses, and Latina small businesses are the fastest-growing in the country.

Small businesses are the lifeblood of America, but Joe Biden crushed them with red tape and woke requirements. I see great opportunity for President Trump and Kelly Loeffler to revitalize small businesses across America.
