I see this everyday. I help SMEs build products and the owners always focus on their requests/desires. However, the data we collect clearly shows a different behaviour from the user side. SMEs do not fall in love with the product, but with the client.

I see this all the time. Companies jump on trendy marketing while their conversion basics are a mess. You can have the coolest campaign, but if your funnel's broken, what's the point? Have you tracked where prospects actually drop off?
