Fun fact: This animation was close on becoming an unfinished one because while doing the clean-up I lost the tip of the pen and as I couldn't find the spare ones I had to use the tip of my old tablet pen that kept falling off every 5 minutes. I almost give up

Added some extra things. You can now change the stroke width on the pen tool. It also has a subtle animation going to and from the centre of the tool tray when different tools are selected. Wireframe Design Studio

Recently on a Color Drop video that went viral, people were mentioning the possible issues for players who are color blind, so I wanted to address this. Today I added a pulsing system for the color players need to get to, giving a stronger visual cue for those who are color blind. I personally am not color blind, but I love Color Drop and want others to enjoy it as well. I hope that this update will improve the experience for those who are color blind so they can enjoy it too!

I was digging around the HyperCard 1.0.1 floppy image tonight, as one does, and found a curious private file: FONT 31756. It's a font file containing all of the glyphs for HyperCard's tool palette, likely created by Kristee Kreitman and Marge Boots (credited in the app for Graphic Art). I can't believe they were using this technique back in 1987, although it seems Bruce Tognazzini invented it with MouseText two years prior (!). I was moved, as I often am by the work of our field's forebears, so created this little tool for everyone to explore it here:

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of jelly-like UI components, so I decided to make my own in #glsl, running on WebGL! I adapted the volumetric raymarching technique I use in my shaders and built a custom SDF for an iridescent keycap-style button that works as either a slider or a simple push button. The jelly feel comes from elastic easing functions that drive the SDF deformation. The scale, rotation, background, and color palette are all fully configurable.

Cybertruck’s quick steer-by-wire & four-wheel steering system saves driver from a potentially bad collision. “On a two lane highway listening to the evening news when all of a sudden I see a car, glass, and parts flying at me. I cranked the steering wheel hard and fast to almost full lock. I missed the oncoming car by MILLEMETERS! This is a testament to how well the 4 wheel steering works and especially the drive by wire steering. Had I been in my Ram I would have either hit the car to my right at the stop sign, over steered and had to counter steer and would have either spun out, ditched it, or worse rolled it. (Via Cybertruck Owners Club u/LuckysFabShop)
