Small budget really makes you go creative.

The vibe s1 had mystery and thriller that had never been recreated again

The atmosphere was way more natural but had the fantasy element now it’s just straight up comic

100%. Excess ruins everything.

They couldn't do this today if they tried

Ns they got money and got lazy .. they should’ve started on TUBI

Season 1 and 2 feel like different shows now. They couldn’t even keep up the 80x feeling in the season 5. The lighting is marvel lighting and the dialogue just falls flat. Nothing about it feels even the least bit genuine.

need cigarette joyce back

rewatching the show the first season still strikes me as one of the best seasons of television. all the characters were just used really well except maybe barb who could have benefited from more screentime before that night.

no big colorful portal

Money corrupts and makes you lame and gay

Whatever happened to the dog ?

Season 1 was so good

But wait how did they communicate If the Upside Down is related in the past and how did Will knew that each light was a reference for each letter of the alphabet

After season 1 they focused on making the show "aesthetically pleasing".

BRO THIS MAKE ME WANT TO WATCH SEASON 1 ALL OVER AGAIN

the season 1 as full of emotion, scenes that are human. the season now is full of punchline jokes which eradicates viewers emotion.

i miss how gritty this was

“Small budget” and it was like $6 million an episode which in 2016 was not insignificant

Why nobody is worried about where Byers’ dog went?? It just disappeared in thin air before the end of S1 😭

they had winona ryder in the show can't really call that a small budget

This was best experience of 2025

Fr bro

Season 5 is like I’m watching a NEON sign, miss this look.

S1-3 had so much suspense and mystery Even season 4 wasn’t that bad wtf went wrong bro

Show was elite man now we got a 5 min scene of a kid coming out to 15 ppl

Why was the DG there going after Joyce?! Was there blood?!

man what the fuck did they do to this show

They should've stayed small.

This scene made me watch the entire series

'small budget' lmao

"small"

Gente e esse cachorro que eu não tava lembrando KKKKKKKK

Agree💯

what happened to their dog
