Traffic systems should prioritize fairness, ie first come first serve and not reward cheating. I don't care if overall traffic moves faster. Rules should never provide advantage to cheaters.

We have such a long way to go. All our traffic lights are covered in cameras. None of the cameras are hooked up to the lights. You can be the only car at an intersection in the West, and still wait 2 minutes for "your turn". Not even on the ruling class radar, so far behind.
