can you upload these unlisted on YT? Twitter hates any form of quality

Clarity and detail of A, though it looks like a fake background with how everything's in focus and I'm not a fan of the magenta lean.

B all time, A is over saturated

Give your answer here

The answer to this one is: A: Pixel 8 Pro + Video Boost (4K) B: iPhone 15 Pro Standard 4K video Both were shot with the 1x Main camera.

Saturation is too high in A... I'll go with B

Even if Twitter video compression does it no justice, I think B looks better imo. The details you have in the bright areas compared to A, even if small, are noticeable, skin tone look better on A, but they even may be too rosy if you look at the red neon sign behind you 1/?

A is sharper also has a strange overprocessed look to it, a bit uncanny. I slightly prefer B because it looks more natural.

The colors on A look abysmal. But B washes out all the details. They both just... miss the mark in different ways. Also twitter kinda messed up the video. I voted B because it took me time to notice the missing detail, but the colors on A are just way too repulsive to me

B. A. is oversaturated.

The background looks better in A but the skintones look better in B

A

I prefer the sharpness of A and the colours of B, but I suspect it would be a different story viewed anywhere but Twitter. Overall I’ll go with sharpness which gives the impression of better quality when viewed here. HEVC vs ProRes Log test?

A

Once again, forgive me for evaluating this comparison on my iPhone SE3’s 760p. Fixed 60 Hz super dim NoLED display….on top of having to contend with Twitter’s XTreem downscaling and compression. The left image being cropped to a narrower angle suggests the footage was captured on smartphone whose primary lens had a longer focal length, then again perhaps it is optically zoomed to fool the viewer or, if shot by an iPhone 15 pro/max used one of their ultra wide or telephoto’s closer range options! Regardless, I prefer this clip’s more neutral colour gamut and warmer tone as opposed to the left’s unnaturally green tint and also the former’s balanced sharpness. Headings across the illuminated shop signs behind you are all clearly legible, whilst window frames beneath them and lines within the building’s brickwork are as sharply defined as every crease in your jacket! The right camera’s autofocus is adding what some might claim to be a subtle and desirable shallow depth of field effect, which could obviously be replicated or eliminated via manual overrides according to subjective tastes, but since we’re solely concerned with “factory fresh functionality”, I find this feature to be counter productive for vlog style recordings where there may be be frequently varying levels of foreground activity, as was so when you walked into shot at the start of this clip, when the Dynamic adjustemts caused a sudden loss of background detail! Left photo is significantly brighter but in no way washed out whilst Contrast ratio appears closely matched, with no overly exposed areas in either. My vote is a clear victory for reel A which I suspect (not having had time to read all the replies) might be the work of Google’s latest Pixel!

Compression makes both look garbage. Would you be a kind sir and upload this as an unlisted video to YouTube like someone else suggested?

Skin tones are better in B, but the light in A is far better. Look at the how much in shadow, the building at the rear is in B. A is also much clearer/defined.

I said B. But, the subjects colors of B. The framing of A, and the background detail of A. The subjects coloring makes the decision for me.

A's highlights are much better, though B has truer-to-life colors. Probably a veeeerrry slight edge to A.

Why B looks like lagging?

A

B is iPhone? Cuz of the lens flare

A

they're both grainy and not great - but at least the "B" camera has the color temperature warmer and more accurate IMO. Look at the red "Animal Hospital" sign. On the "A" camera, the sign is PINK! I'd place bets that sign isn't pink when in-person.

B looks more natural

A

Is the sign in the back actually magenta (A) or red (B) in real life?

can we also get another vote option for 🤷♂️

it depends on which one is more accurate.... is the writing in the sign behind you white or yellow. Whichever is correct is the winner.

A for information. B for entertainment.

I think A is more visually pleasing but B is more accurate?

Clarity of A, colors / tones of B. B looks compressed

There's an obvious color difference. I'm not there to look at you or your background with my own eyes to say which matches best. Otherwise A is objectively more clear, being able to see significantly more detail in the brickwork in the background.

Twitter compression kicking this test ass

A
