This weekend has definitely been one for the history books. Friday, flying from Phoenix to Newark. Saturday, attending my Dad’s funeral there, and Sunday, flying back to Phoenix. This workout was definitely needed to decompress from the mental and emotional exhaustion of this weekend. Nonetheless, I’m grateful for my Dad, for the example of strength and resilience he has shown me since he first came into my life at the age of 7. He freely picked up the responsibility and mantle of Father that my biological father chose to forfeit. He loved me like I was has on flesh and blood, and was my first example of health masculinity displayed through love. For 35 years I gleamed knowledge and direction from him, and how to stand in my truth, even when it’s not difficult and unpopular. I thank him for covering me, molding me, and correcting me, and most importantly loving me. I’ve endured ALOT of loss this year and regard to connections and people, but this one has to be the most difficult. Yet I know that I will be okay. It may take a min, but I know the power that can be produced from pain. I will continue to move forward, and keep his memory in my heart for all my earthly days.

SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL POTENTIAL FRIDAY NIGHT ******1ST CALL MAP****** 🎄 Merry Christmas to YOU!!! A pretty sizable snowstorm is expected across the region Friday night, with snow developing as early as Friday evening. I am very confident in a widespread 6–10" snowfall for a large portion of the Tri-State area, with lower confidence closer to NYC, Long Island, and the Jersey Shore where mixing remains a concern. At this time, I am keeping some mixing in play in central NJ/Long Island, but I’m not totally sold on how aggressive it becomes. While 4–6" looks like a very solid floor, several areas could easily boom to 6"+ if colder air locks in faster and holds longer than currently modeled. ZONE 1 – 6–10" OF SNOW This is the zone where cold air damming will be most prevalent, allowing snow to remain all snow for the duration of the event. Expect higher snow ratios, which could allow many areas to push toward double-digit totals, especially under any persistent banding. I could easily pull this zone into NYC and Nassau County as we see more model data. ZONE 2 – 4–6" OF SNOW This zone will likely start with heavy, wet snow, before transitioning to a lighter, fluffier snowfall as colder air works in. Some compaction is expected with lower snow ratios, but additional snow and mesoscale banding could still drive totals toward or above 6" in spots. ZONE 3 – 2–4" WITH MIXING This zone remains VERY uncertain. I could make a strong argument that cold air advection dominates, keeping this mostly snow and allowing totals to reach 4–6". However, low-level warm air transport on an easterly wind may introduce sleet, especially along the Jersey Shore (east of GSP) and into Suffolk County, which would eat into accumulations. This was my very first time working on site with fighters and after a day of filming I was instructed to come up with something for these legends to record for socials. I explained a concept and had to tell GSP that he needed to slap Wonderboy and it be believable enough to be funny. WB and GSP agreed to just full send it. One take. 🤣 (GSP had just started rocking hair and Will Smith had slapped Chris Rock on tv the night before) 🧵 This might take days to finish but I want this stuff to live forever on the internet so bare with me. 🙏😂

I'm an artist, and for a long time now, my work has been about catching viral words and cultural moments that define our time and turning them into art. The idea for "Special Slop" has been brewing in my mind for a while, but it was waiting for the final push. That push came when the word "SLOP" was named the word of the year. Only having one day to attend the cosplay festival meant I changed into another outfit in the afternoon. This is currently my absolute favorite costume. I wish I could show everyone more of it clearly 😭 The instrument is made from some kind of glass-like material, and the craftsmanship is just insanely delicate and perfect 🥹 Aaaaaa it feels so amazing to be able to cosplay Arknights again!!

❄️ One thing that’s NOT being talked about enough: Snow Ratios with this Storm could be WAY higher than 10:1, meaning there's a chance our Storm OVERPERFORMS A normal storm is around 10:1 (10 inches of snow from 1 inch of liquid). But when Arctic air is in place, snowflakes grow lighter, fluffier, and more efficient, and ratios SKYROCKET. Our Storm has: ✅ Arctic air firmly in place ✅ Ideal snow forming temps aloft (-12°F to -24°F) ✅ A very solid upper-level temperature profile ➡️ That supports 12:1 or even 15:1 snow ratios in spots. Every inch of liquid turns into WAY more snow. ⬇️ Bottom line: This is the kind of setup where storms *could OVERPERFORM. I would not be surprised if some areas push close to 1.5 FEET of Snow where ratios are highest. Now, I do think the Kuchera Snow Ratios are overdone, but they are likely closer than the simple 10:1 Snow ratios being show everywhere. Going to be VERY interesting to watch, my Snow-loving brotheren 👀❄️

Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.
