Smoke bomb thug is going to GET AWAY without facing charges! New developments have unfolded in the case of an alleged smoke bomb attack targeting pastor Sean Feucht and a Montreal church last summer. In July 2025, Feucht, a musician who hosts Christian worship services, was touring across Canada.... Pressure campaigns led venues to cancel a number of his events. When this happened in Montreal, the Ministerios Restauración church stepped up and offered to host his service. As Rebel News reported at the time, the event was met with protests and intimidation from activists gathered outside. During the service, an individual allegedly entered the building, ignited two smoke bombs, and threw them on stage before fleeing the scene. Further investigations by Rebel News identified the alleged suspect as Gabriel Lepage, an employee of the Department of National Defence, who also appears to have ties to far-left activists. In September, we attempted to question Lepage and shared the information we had gathered with the Montreal police. Seven months later, in February 2026, the detective assigned to the case informed the victim that the recommended charge would be mischief over $5,000, citing section 430 of the Criminal Code. It is worth noting that under Quebec law, deliberately setting off smoke bombs inside a place of worship during a service could potentially lead to more serious charges, including offences related to interfering with religious property. However, the police opted to pursue the lesser mischief charge. Since then, the case has taken a new turn. After learning the file had been transferred to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP), we sought more information. Officials stated no public information was available, providing us with a file number upon mention of Lepage's name — indirectly confirming his inclusion in the case. Weeks later, the victim contacted the DPCP directly. During that exchange, an employee reportedly stated: “I see that a decision has been made — the case has been declined.” The employee then retracted that comment, referring the victim back to investigators, citing an inability to disclose further details, despite appearing to have accidentally leaked the information. Rebel News reached out to all parties involved — the investigator, Montreal police and the DPCP — seeking confirmation or denial within 24 hours. Update: The accused in the alleged defilement case involving a 14-year-old girl in Tamale has reportedly been charged with contempt of court and perjury after claiming he was unaware the victim was underage. According to reports, although an NHIS card presented at a private health facility indicated that the victim was 14 years old during a visit where he allegedly facilitated an abortion, the accused maintained that the victim had told him she was 18. Investigations further revealed that the accused allegedly posed as the victim’s uncle during their visit to the hospital and informed officials that the pregnancy had been caused by an unknown individual. Breaking news :📍📰 🇿🇦 On Friday, members of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) attached to the Zonkizizwe Precinct, working together with the EMPD Towing Division, recovered three vehicles reported as hijacked. The recovery followed information received from members of the community, who had repeatedly reported the particular property to local authorities. According to residents, despite several reports, no meaningful action had previously been taken. Community members also alleged that a known police officer had been actively protecting the property and ensuring that law-enforcement officers did not enter or search it for stolen vehicles. It is alleged that the police officer reside in Germiston however even in the middle of the night, he responds whenever other officers are at the property Acting on the information received, EMPD officers proceeded to the property to conduct an inspection. Although no one was present at the premises at the time, officers made several discoveries. A white Isuzu bakkie with false registration plates was found on the property, with the assistance of the Benoni Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit (VCIU), further checks were conducted and it was established that the vehicle had been stolen in Seshego. A further inspection of the yard led to the discovery of various vehicle parts. The front section of a hijacked white Nissan Impendulo tested positive in connection with a Springs case, while additional parts belonging to a hijacked Hyundai Tucson were identified and linked to a Vosloorus case. While EMPD officers were still on scene conducting investigations and loading the recovered evidence onto a towing vehicle, an off-duty police officer arrived. The officer, based at Eden Park SAPS and attached to a unit dealing with trio crimes, allegedly confronted and harassed the EMPD officers, demanding to know what they were doing at a property belonging to his friend. Video footage recorded at the scene appears to show the officer, identified as Sergeant Zwane, behaving in an intoxicated manner. Community members who witnessed the confrontation further allege that at one point Sergeant Zwane drew his firearm.

Recording a group holding Islamic prayers as part of an anti-Israel demonstration outside of the city's iconic Notre-Dame Basilica. Somehow, police deemed Alexa as the issue in this incident as they attempted to tell her what is — and is not — a news story in the matter of public interest. Alexa joined hosts Sheila Gunn Reid and David Menzies on Monday's Rebel Roundup livestream, where she discussed this latest blunder by the Montreal police. “We didn't go and follow the protest; we just wanted to capture that prayer,” Alexa explained, noting the incident was newsworthy because of the Quebec government considering a ban on public prayers. While some protesters had no issue with the filming, others began to get aggressive with the Rebel reporter. That's when police got involved, accusing Alexa of disrupting prayers. “A lot of people want to know what is going on with those public prayers because there is no media who dare to come and record what is happening,” she explained. “This is targeted harassment of the journalists who are trying to show the world what's happening,” Sheila remarked, highlighting how this incident is just the latest in the hostile crowd's efforts to intimidate Rebel reporters. A man is urgently seeking public assistance to apprehend two fraudsters who scammed him of GH¢28,000 at the Legon Police Station in the Greater Accra Region. According to details the victim shared with ASK, one of the fraudsters posed as an agent, while the other, dressed in a wine-colored outfit, pretended to be the landlord. After negotiations, the supposed landlord called the victim and asked him to meet at the Legon Police Station to sign the rental contract. He claimed his car had been involved in an accident and that he was at the MTTD handling the matter. The victim went to the station, signed the documents, paid the full amount, and was handed the keys to the non-existent apartment in Dansoman. He later discovered that the Dansoman property he had been handed the keys to was not owned by the self-proclaimed landlord and that he had been scammed. All efforts to apprehend the fraudsters have been unsuccessful. He is now appealing to the public for help in identifying and arresting the two men.
