Trying to fix the FPS issues today If I'm on MacBook Pro M3 with battery >20% or power connected I get 120 FPS The moment I go below <20% battery, M3 goes in power save mode I think so FPS drops to 30 FPS 30 FPS is fine but it also decreases the entire game speed by 30/120 (so 4x) Same on iPhone, I get 30 FPS, but the game gets too slow My Cursor written animate() function is, which runs on requestAnimationFrame, but I guess that deltaTime code needs some fixes to disconnect it from the FPS, I already tried but didn't work Ideally 120 FPS or 30 FPS or 10 FPS all runs at same speed even if lower or higher frame rate function animate() { requestAnimationFrame(animate); // Calculate delta time in seconds, but use fixed timestep for physics const currentTime = const rawDeltaTime = (currentTime - lastFrameTime) / 1000; deltaTime = 1/60; // Force fixed 60 FPS timestep for all physics lastFrameTime = currentTime;

Successfully locked 60 fps, this finally starts to feel like a real game. Caliber was running at 15 FPS two days ago. Day 33 of building our own open world game with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - 60+ on the counter driving through the full city. - world partition is in, the whole city streams around you instead of loading all at once. now I'm bringing the graphics quality back up while holding the 60. Best quality and best fps is the goal. next up: the npcs and the traffic. What's the first thing you'll do when you get in: drive, explore, or cause chaos?

In my previous post about the #Nioh3 demo, I mentioned that when the game isn’t consistently holding 60 FPS or 120 FPS, several issues can show up. Here’s a clearer breakdown of what's going on. The main reason is that the game speed and physics are tied to the frame rate. When you enable the 120 FPS cap, the engine start overreacting and pushes CPU usage very high, even if the game is still running at around 60 FPS (as shown in the first example). In the second clip, you can see the uneven, jittery camera movement I mentioned before. Notice how much smoother 60 FPS and 120 FPS look compared to the unlocked side. Also, camera movement at 60 FPS is slightly faster than at 120 FPS. In the third clip, player movement is slower when the frame rate is unlocked. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it shows up often enough to be noticeable. Because of how the Katana Engine behaves, the game is clearly designed around 60 FPS. Running at 120 FPS is possible, but it’s only recommended if your system can maintain that target almost all the time, which isn’t easy to achieve. There’s also an alternative workaround where you select the 60 (locked) option and enable Frame Generation (DLSS or FSR 3), as shown in the last clip. The downside is that DLSS Frame Generation tends to show the same stuttery look as when the frame rate isn’t holding a fixed target, likely due to Reflex keeping the frame rate slightly below target. FSR Frame Generation, on the other hand, looks much smoother and works better here.

My first impression of The Blood of Dawnwalker 1. Worst optimized game in 2026. 30-40 FPS on DLSS Quality with a 5800X3D + 5060 Ti 16GB. Even Balanced runs like trash. 2. Walking feels so weird. Controller stops working after I touch the mouse. 3. So many visual bugs. Animations locked at 30 FPS. 4. This game is so unpolished. Can’t believe it looks like Witcher 3 and still runs this bad. Silver Palace Performance Update ( Good News ) • Silver Palace addressed the performance issues and released an approximately 600 MB patch that fixes most of the stuttering. • I'm now getting 60–90 FPS at 1440p with DLSS Quality. Previously, I was only getting 30–40 FPS (without Frame Generation). • The game still needs more optimization. FPS drops quite a bit during combat, but the overall experience has improved significantly. Glad to see the developers listened to the community's feedback. #SilverPalace #Gacha

Sometimes I wonder what the people are cooking with their pcs to run the game so bad.. I have way lower pc specs and still bounce on max settings DLSS Quality between 70-100 fps on 1440p and have no other issues.. with DLAA I run 50-60 fps... - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 12x 3.7 GHz - ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 OC, 16GB GDDR6X - 2x Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (64GB)

I will stop sayin any nice words about Valve. Whatever you did with the game after last update, feels bad. I got huge FPS drop on 7800x3d and 9070xt (I cleaned the cache) Several times I saw my teammates and enemies in front of me all jittery, vibrating. People again are swinging crazy fast. A lot of players came to my stream saying something is off with the game. CS2

So far, my impressions of #AssassinsCreed Black Flag Resynced are positive, but there are a few annoyances that I hope Ubisoft addresses in the future. ✅The game takes full advantage of the Anvil engine's latest features (RTGI, RT Reflections, Micropolygon Geometry, etc.), and it looks great. ✅Performance is stable, and the frame time graph stays mostly flat, even in dense, crowded areas like Havana. ⚠️Cutscenes are locked to 30 FPS with no in-game option to remove the cap. This makes the transition between cutscenes and gameplay feel jarring. ⚠️The user interface experience is rough. The game offers a lot of graphics settings and options, but most of them require either a full restart or a save reload to apply, even post processing effects.

Batman Arkham Knight is locked at 30 fps/1080p on consoles, with no next‑gen patch in sight, which is a bummer. It was the 2nd game I finished on PS4. On PC the 4K, max settings, higher fps & PhysX make it look like a new game. Can’t wait to replay it once my backlog shrinks.

Borderlands 4 Performance Summary in 2 minutes: 0:00 - Native Res Badass Settings the game runs bad 0:30 - Upscaling Performance Mode Badass Settings, the game barely manages to hit 60FPS 1:20 - Frame Gen turned on and now you have 100 FPS Some people will turn all these settings on and be happy with it but in my honest opinion these are used as crutches to make the game look as if it performs good. Borderlands 4 has a certain art style that doesn't look like it needs these kind of settings to be turned on to play at a high framerate but sadly it does and you can defend this if you want but the future of gaming looks bleak, using this tech to not optimize the games further will just result in input latency increase as every game will be delivered with frame-gen turned on in the devs mind.

Haven't played CoD in weeks, the video views aren't doin the best, but my sanity and happiness with what I'm playing is a lot higher. Delta Force deserves your time if you enjoy FPS games. Smaller 5v5 modes are in the works, and the game will be on every platform free.
