Everything she said is true. I had my baby at 39 and I gave her the best, most wise, healthy, stable, mature, loving, understanding version of myself that I could possibly give. I grew up, made my mistakes, healed and blossomed before I had my baby and I have no regrets.

Another thing ppl keep ignoring is that women have ALWAYS had kids in their mid to late 30s. It just usually wasn't their first. How do people think some of our grandparents popped out double digit kids? This is nothing new. Hell, my grandmother had her only 2 (at 36 and 38)

@ all the women saying it can be dangerous to wait or it can be harder to conceive if u wait, if u treat ur temple properly you can conceive healthy babes well past 40. eat right and move ur body & ur body will be good to u

My mom had me and my sister โlateโ and she put us up on so much game ๐๐พ๐๐พ love that lady

I keep tryna explain this to people. I was in a much better position to have my child in my 30s by literally EVERY measure. Mentally, financially, etc. And I was a very responsible younger woman but certain things can only come with age and experience.

My granny had all her kids after 35 and she was a great mom. As long as you and your partner are healthy/hormones are balanced there shouldnโt be any issues with conceiving

All of these things are just being a responsible adult. If you arenโt responsible in your mid to late twenties and it takes another ten yearโฆ.. thatโs your business. But itโs extremely unsafe and unrealistic to promote children this late in life. It can kill you.

Y'all are STILL in the comments tryna scare women. JFC

@_gemineye Iโll be 34 when my baby is born and itโs a relief to be grown, financially stable and mentally in the headspace. Canโt wait to give her the world ๐ฅฐ

But letโs not let this good advice go without the very important caveat that it is MUCH harder to conceive after 35. And if you arenโt freezing eggs in your twenties or stacking enough for IVF, waiting could be devastating. Weigh all considerations& plan accordingly ๐ค๐ค

Agreed!

Had my first at 32 and getting ready for #2 in less than a month at 36 and I wouldnโt have started any sooner. The thought of a baby in my 20s makes me shudder but itโs been so fun and dare I say almost easy in my 30s. 10/10 would recommend waiting

I canโt wait to have another baby, this just made me so hopeful ๐ฅน๐ฅน

Amen!! Iโll be having my children in my 40โs and the knowledge I have is priceless

@itskayx_ Make sure your male counterpart is healthy. Bad diet, inactivity, and age can reduce the already low sperm count that younger men already have because of plastics. It wonโt be women that have the issue frfr

What makes me worry about waiting after 35 is seeing my family history. But mainly seeing how my mother was since I was her 2nd and last child at 35. I'm 20 now, but seeing how tired she was growing up stuck with me. Hopefully I'll be ready in 10 years though

@tzgod3 Yessssss because they havenโt lived like I lived in my 20s โฆ Now everybody my age trying to travel to places Iโve been when I was younger. Iโm ready to be a mom now at 33!!!!

Oh yeah I said I do not want a baby until 35 or 40 honestly.

I had my son at 27. Iโll be 45 when he graduates. For me โฆIโm thankful because no way I could have a 6 year old right now. Also I think if you have a solid support system and all that jazz, after 35 is good for those who want to wait - just for Myself-Nope

๐ฅฐ๐๐พ

@chisomstella She donโt even convinced herself lol ๐ฃ๏ธstop tryna tell grown folk when to have babies

@oneshapg Thank you for this cuz at 30 I feel like i should have gave up hope

Who wants to be raising toddlers while in their 40s? ๐คข

They donโt want to hear you!!!!

@RickiiBobbii24 You might have the energy but do you have the patience/wisdom??

Absolutely! I had one at 23 and one at 37. She hit the nail on the head.

Thank you! Already there with you but good to hear it said so confidently.
