So here is a massive tip for newcomers. Using Elma's Shadowrunner without engaging in battle makes her completely invisible to enemies making it easy to explore. Also Blood Sacrifice gives you 1000 free TP outside of battle.

You actually heal by doing the soul voices. This is the mechanic where your party shouts stuff you need to press and the arts light up.
