So I beat Assassin’s Creed Liberation and it’s… a solid attempt at console quality gaming on the go. The disguise system is unique, the modern day story is the best in the franchise, and the third act had good twists. Held back by the character writing and short runtime. 7/10

It’s been extremely fun over the years discussing gaming in it’s competitive form. From the forums back in the day to the modern day podcast. I’ve never took it too serious it was always in good faith and fun. I’ve battle with the best on the PlayStation side and remain friends with them till this day. Today I bid farewell to the console war. I bid farewell to the front line. The fun and imaginary fight is over tho it had its toxic side. I leave it remembering all the funny times. So I beat Halo 3 and it’s… the weakest of the trilogy for me. I think the gameplay is great with good level pacing, new toys, and the Flood is at their gameplay peak. It’s the story that weighs this down for me. I don’t think any of it ends in a satisfying way anywhere. 8/10.

Based take from Dontai. Assassin's Creed 3's ending is a structural train wreck in terms of the Modern Day. Desmond was the soul of the franchise back then, and I can only imagine how disappointing it is for new fans to see such a foundational character get handled that way.

Been replaying Assassin’s Creed Rogue and the game is still good fun, very underrated to this day. But that main theme might be the best OST of the entire franchise. Combining Ezio’s theme with Kenway music to signify the end of the classic AC era was a beautiful choice.

Ubisoft should release the Assassin’s Creed 1 Remake after the Black Flag Remake. It’s the game that started it all and it deserves a remake more than any other Assassin’s Creed title. But it will depend on how well Ubisoft handles the Black Flag Remake and how it is received.
