“So many in America are deceived into believing that because they prayed a prayer one time they’re going to heaven.” -Paul Washer Do you think pastors should lead entire congregations in the “sinner’s prayer?”

Of course they should. We give them the opportunity to believe in their heart and CONFESS with their mouth. NONE of us has control over someone's heart nor do we know what they are actually believing. You're born in a moment and born again in a moment. THEN, we grow.

Should Trump and Musk take a wrecking ball to our govt? Senator Warren says they are already doing so.

No. Just give preach the word, and make disciples.

I despise the sinner’s prayer and altar calls. Both are unbiblical traditions. It’s basically the Baptist mass.

I prayed it when I became a believer. I did not rely on it for salvation. I prayed declaring I believe. My life was never the same after.

Yes at the end I think an invitation to accept Jesus is good

I hear the self-anointed from this dark corner of Christendom make this complaint frequently; “people are deceived into thinking their going to heaven because the prayed a prayer.” You know what I have never heard from any of them? Statistical research to back up their claims about “many being deceived.” Have any of you heard this claim backed up with data?

I suppose so. But, there better be some hard preaching against sin first. People can’t be saved if they don’t understand what they need to be saved for?

God knows the intent of the prayer. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED. Romans 10:13. But God knows each heart and Isn‘t fooled.

He’s referring to the other jesus in 2 Corinthians the 11th chapter. Warn everyone you can… few will listen.
