Vusi Shongwe says if you add numbers of Ad Hoc committee members of MKP, ANC and DA, they would outnumber other parties and get General Khan, except what happened that day is that the CIC was most vocal in getting Khan to not come but the other parties sided with him. So, how is it Malema who was responsible for not having Khan appear before the committee if others shared his views? Is he suggesting that ANC, MKP and DA agreed to get Khan there or they shared same sentiments with the EFF or Shongwe just wanted to drop Juju’s name?

Julius Malema says he is not scared of General Mkhwanazi. KHAN, SAYED & MALEMA There was a parallel exchange between Major General Khan and Mr Julius Malema, intermediated by Mr Sayed. • On 15 June 2021, Mr Sayed forwarded to Major General Khan a message from Mr Julius Malema in the following terms: “Need to know the complaint in case no: SANDTON CAS 76/07/2019.” • He followed this up with a message explaining the source of this request: “Juju bru”. • At 16h57 on 15 June, Major General Khan obliged by providing an extract from the SAPS computerized case filing system with details of the name of the complainant in the case. A copy of the extract from the SAPS case filing system is attached. Major General Khan then also separately messaged Mr Sayed with not only the complainant’s name, but also his address. • The complainant in Sandton CAS 76/07/2019 was the curator of VBS Bank, Mr Anoush Rooplal. Mr Malema has been implicated in the VBS Bank scandal in the plea explanation affidavit of the former VBS Chair, Mr Tshifwa Matodzi who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to an effective 15 year term of imprisonment for his role in the scandal. Mr Matodzi stated in his plea explanation affidavit that, in an attempt to buy EFF political protection for VBS, he had paid bribes of millions of rands to Mr Malema and Mr Floyd Shivambu in the guise of making donations to the EFF. [WATCH] IMPEACHMENT COMMITTEE CHAIR. If Mmusi wants to chair the committee he must put his ambitions forward and not create his own rules. There is no rule that says the ANC is excluded from putting forth a candidate to chair the committee. We are not going into the impeachment process to defend, we are going into it guided by the ruling of the constitutional court and follow all matters step by step as expected of us. Even in the Ad Hoc Committee we have acted without fear or favour, even against our own. Maimane must not create rules that are non existent and he has ambitions to chair the committee and we will not support it. We have had an Ad Hoc Committee chair by Cde Soviet who is an ANC member, it was fair and he was unbiased even against his fellow members who appeared. So this allegation that the ANC will defend its President is unfounded and the example of the Ad hoc Committee proves that. The ANC like any other party in parliament is not excluded from chairing. #TheYearOfDecisiveAction

The Question They Didn't Want Answered - And Why It Matters Even More Today This is one of the more revealing exchanges I've had in Question Period. I asked straightforward questions about government decision-making, lobbying, and conflicts of interest involving the Premier. Instead of answers, I was met with interruptions, insults, and repeated attempts to shut down the discussion. Watch closely. Ask yourself: Why was this question so difficult to answer? And why were they so determined to prevent it from being asked? Since this exchange, Albertans have witnessed controversy after controversy involving sole-source contracts, procurement practices, government appointments, and questions of transparency and accountability. And now, AHS has been ordered by the courts to turn over documents to law enforcement. That development makes this exchange even more relevant. The details may change, but the pattern remains the same. When legitimate questions are raised, this government dodges responsibility. Too often we see deflection, obstruction, and theatrics. I somehow feel the part of evidence that relates to General Khan and Kadwa required senior Advocates. It's getting complicated and needs connecting of dots. 😫 Anyway on this clip Colonel Sebola is saying he never saw General Khan on the scene. He then says he didn't even know him then. He was told later by General Kadwa that they were together there with other Generals. Phakula yesterday said when Khan arrived, he took over the scene. So clearly these are competing versions because up to now, we were under the impression that Sebola was in charge of the scene. So...🤷🏽‍♀️ #MadlangaCommission
