The Last Samurai (2003) has a rare sincerity for a modern epic. Hans Zimmer’s score gives it soul, elevating every scene into something mythic. It’s a film that wears its heart on its sleeve, and somehow that makes it timeless.

Something so big moving so gracefully and gentle that it barely makes a wave. Some things in this world are just beautiful beyond comprehension.🐋💙

Back when I shared Florence’s Aseult Passion piece, it already felt like something rare. Now this new Annunciation… months of patient work condensed into 90 seconds. The same reverence and care. It really makes you think about what it means to pour your life into something so deliberately slow and beautiful in a world that never stops moving. Truly special!

“rape is something that lives, the fear of it lives in our body, and when stories like this come out and it’s really not picked up in a way that you hope that is picked up it makes me feel scared, it makes me feel anxious, it makes me feel so much rage” ❤️‍🩹

Warren Buffett: "To sell off something that is a really wonderful business — because the price looks a little high or something like that — is almost always a mistake." "If you really believe that the long-term economics of the business are terrific, it's very rare that it makes any sense to sell it."
