We just tested a lip sync workflow in Seedance 2.0… and it might actually compete with HeyGen and other avatar models 👀 You upload: – a reference image – a blacked out video with audio OR audio file – a prompt (camera motion + VO) The prompted VO is really important here to make sure the model doesn’t hallucinate or riff off of the original speaker verses. Feels like a legit breakthrough. Lip sync has been a pain point for a while, and this gets us a lot closer.

This is so cool! 🤯🤯 I just tested the new Avatar IV lip-syncing model by HeyGen. It now includes hand gesture control, and the results are impressive! This could be a strong solution for creating consistent AI characters with multiple camera angles. I’m excited to use it in my upcoming short films!

I'm still convinced that you can get a better acting performance with AI by generating dialogue first and generating the video to sync with the audio. As audio generation is so much cheaper you're also able to validate the performance for a few cents before using credits for the video. Midjourney 8.2 -> SeeDream 5.0 -> SeedAudio 1.0 -> SeeDance 2.0

So Kling AI 3.0 now supports multi-shot sequences, so I was excited to test it head-to-head against Flow by Google VEO 3.1, which is known for having some of the best video lip-sync out there. Verdict 🏆: This might not even be a totally fair comparison since Kling can generate up to 15s clips while VEO tops out at 8s. That said, Kling feels like it’s capturing more emotional performance and nuance, with more natural overall mouth movement. VEO still seems stronger on strict lip-sync accuracy, while Kling characters can look like they’re slightly mumbling at times. Overall, it feels like Kling is pushing performance forward, which is a huge leap. I definitely want to run more side-by-side tests.

Finally got our hands on Seedance 2.0 (through YouArt) and ran it head-to-head with Kling AI 3.0. Here’s what stood out: Seedance 2.0’s physics feel stronger right away. The movement just looks more natural and realistic, especially in bigger physical actions. It also handles continuity across multiple shots from a single prompt better than I expected, which makes scene building a lot easier. And on the audio side, the lip sync generally holds up better than Kling. But here’s the tradeoff: Both models struggle with fine details. Background faces and smaller elements still get a bit messy. Seedance currently outputs at 720p, while Kling 3.0 supports 1080p, so Kling has the edge in overall sharpness. Even with upscaling, Seedance doesn’t fully recover those tiny details. the hardest test to pass when making ai ugc is the VOICE AI always sounds robotic and you can literally SMELL the AI when you hear how fake their voices sound i fr had no idea but seedance 2.0 supports audio references. like you can add references of videos, photos, AND audio (maybe im dumb asf but i just found this out 2 weeks ago) so i just added the most simple way possible to realaiugc(.com) to add your own audio to seedance 2.0 videos to have REAL sounding voices in whatever you're making either use your own voice OR eleven labs/bland ai to generate the videos with (mostly fine) lip synced movements as well + if the lip sync isnt quite there, you can fix it in higgsfield lip sync studio (will see about adding this directly too) go try it! also updated the entire ui bc opus 4.8 + claude design is OP now
