A lot of people suggested I try steamed eggs in my instant pot and I discovered there are definitely some advantages. I only need a cup of water and since I use filtered water, it’s a lot less taxing. Peeling the eggs is about 20% easier than my method. The biggest drawback I can think of is it might be harder to get the eggs exactly how I want since I’m cooking in one minute increments. For example, these three minute, low pressure eggs had perfect jammy centers and I wanted it a little bit runnier. Will two minute eggs get it there or will it be too runny. I guess I’ll have to see.
