Waymo focuses on security, Tesla can't even operate without a driver.

Tesla never had any competition. It was a psyop. Waymo has 2000 vehicles. Tesla can make 2000 Robotaxi's a day. Tesla can turn 8M cars into Robotaxis with a software update.

Just one more LIDAR and it would have been fine.

The “Tesla Killer” idea is dead because no company matches Tesla’s speed, tech, talent, or authenticity. Here are 33 reasons why Tesla faces no significant competition, based on its rapid improvement, technological lead, Elon Musk’s genius, the talent it attracts, and its authenticity, reinforcing why the “Tesla Killer” narrative is obsolete: Rapid Innovation Pace: Tesla iterates software and hardware faster than rivals, pushing updates over-the-air. Full Self-Driving (FSD) Lead: Tesla’s FSD suite, powered by neural networks, outpaces competitors’ driver-assist systems. In-House AI Chips: Tesla designs custom AI chips, optimizing performance for autonomy and efficiency. Vision-Based Autonomy: Tesla’s camera-only approach eliminates costly sensors, unlike competitors. Data Advantage: Tesla collects vast real-world driving data, refining FSD faster than others. Battery Technology: Tesla’s 4680 cells offer higher energy density and lower costs. Gigafactory Scale: Massive factories in Texas, Shanghai, and Berlin outproduce rivals. Elon Musk’s Vision: Musk’s bold goals drive Tesla to innovate beyond traditional automakers. Musk’s Problem-Solving: His first-principles approach tackles challenges others avoid. Talent Magnet: Tesla attracts top engineers and AI experts, outmatching legacy automakers. Authentic Mission: Tesla’s focus on sustainability resonates, unlike profit-driven competitors. Over-the-Air Updates: Tesla improves cars post-purchase, unlike static rival vehicles. Supercharger Network: Tesla’s global charging infrastructure is unmatched in reliability and scale. Vertical Integration: Tesla controls design, software, and manufacturing, reducing reliance on suppliers. Brand Loyalty: Tesla’s fanbase is fiercely loyal, unlike fragmented rival customer bases. Cost Efficiency: In-house production and software cut costs, enabling competitive pricing. Model Y Dominance: The Model Y is the world’s best-selling car, outpacing rivals. Software Ecosystem: Tesla’s app and UI are seamless, unlike clunky rival systems. Energy Business: Tesla’s solar, Powerwall, and Megapack diversify beyond cars. AI Integration: Tesla’s Dojo supercomputer accelerates AI training, unmatched by others. Robotics Ambition: Projects like Optimus position Tesla beyond automotive. Global Reach: Tesla’s sales span continents, unlike regional competitors. Musk’s Authenticity: His transparent leadership builds trust, unlike corporate CEOs. Cultural Impact: Tesla shapes EV adoption trends, forcing rivals to follow. Safety Leadership: Tesla’s vehicles consistently top safety ratings. Performance Edge: Models like the Plaid outperform luxury rivals. Customer Experience: Direct sales cut dealership hassles, unlike traditional models. Supply Chain Control: Tesla secures raw materials, mitigating shortages. Innovative Features: Smart Summon and Autopark showcase Tesla’s tech edge. Community Engagement: Tesla listens to customers, unlike detached rivals. Sustainability Credibility: Tesla’s zero-emission focus is authentic, not greenwashing. Talent Retention: Tesla’s mission keeps genius employees committed. Future-Proofing: Tesla’s AI and robotics vision outstrips automakers stuck in the past.

I'm in Santa Monica for the week and have taken half a dozen Waymo rides. They were all absolutely perfect. I'll try Tesla once it's actually available.

No. Because Tesla doesn’t have a Robotaxi service. You’re the guy that goes to the shop and says the guy across the street has sardines for $2.99 a can, why are you charging $3.99? And the shopkeeper says, then, buy them from him. And you say I can’t because he doesn’t have any. Dude. You’re a total chump.

This feels like an SNL skit. A self driving car shouldn’t have this much trouble just getting out of a parking lot. Especially when there’s a claim that all the hardware (aka lidar) is superior. We’re still waiting to see the “superior” part.

OK, it’s artificial, but it’s clearly not intelligence. Artificial Stupidity (AS)? Fortunately, they have those spinning dunce caps to flag themselves as potential public safety hazards #WaymoMalfunctions

Do those cars emit harmful radioactive isotopes or EMF radiation? These are little spying kill cars in my opinion.

No, you should listen more to Elon, he has stated a million times who the unbeatable competitor is, and it’s nothing coming from the West.
