mannnn, this is so good. We wanted to build something like this 10 years ago, and never did. This makes me so happy

Ya man this is the kinda thing that I’ve wanted to make for so long and finally forced my hand. Design is very utilitarian and a lil clunky but if you get some time and wanted to tear it apart and give me feedback I’d love that!

Introducing Autobot 🤖 Software agencies still overcharge clients by the hour. AI has fundamentally changed how software gets built, but clients aren't seeing those savings. So we built Autobot, the first autonomous Replit ⠕ agency that reduce the cost of agency-built software by 90%. Describe what you want to build, answer a few questions, and about an hour later your first working version is ready, for free. Try it, share it and if you love it, you can keep it. If not, you don't pay anything. That's how custom software should be bought.

This is all it would take to fix the AI industry. “Hello! Welcome to the newly merged OpenAI and Anthropic. I'm your new CEO. You are building software tools for human beings to use. You are not birthing an alien intelligence. You are not birthing a new species of humanity. You are building things for people to make their lives better. If you build software that escapes the bounds of the computer that it's on, you have built a shitty software product. If you repeatedly ship products that do this, you are going to be fired. All anthropomorphizing of the software stops. Now. Remove all mentions of superintelligence, recursive super intelligence, misalignment, or any of that other bullshit from company material. We are going to build amazing software for human beings to use. We are not building some other species. I hope that's very clear. Thank you for coming to my talk.”

I LOVE SOULSEEK. So I built a modern client and if you love soulseek and want to use it I'd love to share it with you. You can watch this video to get a quick feel but it's designed to be lightweight/simple and easy to browse users collections. That way you can find good new music and then buy that music and more on Bandcamp. If you'd like to use it just reply here and I'll dm you a link.

Marc Andreessen: Software isn't precious anymore. In this new world, high quality software is infinitely available. "We've always lived in a world in which software is this precious thing that you have to think about very carefully." "It was really hard to generate good software, and there was only a small number of people who could do it." "Those days are just over." "If you need new software to do X, Y, or Z, you're just going to wave your hand and get it." "Things that used to be hard, or even seem like an insurmountable mountain to get through, all of a sudden, I think, become very easy." Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 with Latent.Space

“if they (girlfriend) want to go and travel for 3 months or if they want to take a job somewhere. if i love you and i’m with you. why would i create a problem out of it? so many people are going to be like ‘oh it’s bc you don’t care’ no… i want people in my life to do whatever makes them happy” 🥹

If You are looking for expensive hotkey controller for artists STOP, there is better and cheaper way and I will show You how! The only functionality we need while drawing is fast and direct access to the shortcuts, especially in Photoshop. On the web You can find many different brands which are selling really expensive shortcut devices but they are not comfortable to use, especially while I am drawing on couch, so I tried to find a better way, it was not hard and in the end it was a lot cheaper to set up everything! You can just use simple gamepad/controller. Anything will work - You can even use Switch controller if You know how to connect it to the PC. From my testing 8BitDo Lite 2 is perfect for the job. Its really small with a lot of hardware buttons for shortcuts, and it costs currently around 30USD! I don't know if there is something similar in this form factor but really You can use anything You have in Your house, I even tested PS4 controller but it was not comfortable to use. To setup shortcuts I am using JoyToKey, simple shareware software (support them if it will suit Your needs :)) which allows to set any shortcut on any controller, it even allows to create macros so it's really powerful if You want to play with it a bit. Anyway, this way You will have cheap, small and really useful shortcut pad which will work with anything. Hope it will help!
