Stealing the sun to kill gods is pretty fucking metal

Necrons took it to a whole new level

Heyo, we got some more uncredited content, but don't you worry, I have come to provide you with the context you so desperately crave and deserve.

Uncredited? The watermarks are plastered across the video

I'm just saying, maybe there's a reason he felt the need to put a watermark there in the first place. It's nice to know exactly where a piece of media originally comes from, and who made it. It's a service that I happily provide.

@Steal_your_shit You really expect a source for every meme and shitpost?

@Steal_your_shit No, but if I recognize something, I like to put one there just in case. Don't really see how that's a controversial thing, but hey, this is Twitter, logic doesn't exist here.

this is one of my favorite shorts ever. i figured out how to make that dark sun in blender super easy too. for any other 3D modelers out there here you go.

Ok, so Solarpunk is actually a thing. It's not this, but I do like this. I'll include a picture i found on Google of Solarpunk.

Dyson Sphere would be cool setting for solarpunk

This might be the only way solar will ever become "punk", because with how things are in the modern day, solar can never be a punk

Stealing stars to power celestial machines is actually really metal.

That’s how Solemnace is powered

I like this solarpunk better, the version I'm familiar with is a bunch of leftist retards 💀💀

I would call this Eclipse Punk. It is the opposite of solar Punk as the sun is now dying and we're using that dying Sun as our fuel source. There's something about the very idea of it being so awesome

This is absolutely what would happen if we ever managed to become advanced enough to make a Dyson sphere or swarm. And then we would turn it into a gun by making it into a Nicol-Dyson beam

Interesting take on solarpunk considering the traditional view is the merging of nature and civilization

Fuck that hippie shit, we going industrial solarpunk

It has its charm, I could definitely see an agricultural centered region looking like this. Im more of a decopunk guy myself.

“Solarpunk” using clean energy was thought up by a bunch of leftists that dont know the concept of punk. Where ever advancement is put into putting power into the hands government to suppress the commoners. Its always dystopian. Always.

Yellowcake straight up dropped one of the hardest ideas for a video game/Sci-Fi story using music he made and essentially TABG stickmen. Truly a Renaissance Man.

I just remembered that battalion wars existed, and they had a faction called the solar empire and all their tech and weapons ran on solar energy :D

I mean I can see certainly see the interest in this sort of take, especially since it's something I'm personally a fan of, but solarpunk was made to counter the bleak and drab interpretations of the future Which we really need a lot more of, honestly

Industrial solarpunk

Heatpunk

You know, because we'd effectively be artificially postponing the heat death of the universe

It's still using clean energy. Just without care for ecology. Maybe this could be Dyson-punk since it's using all the Sun's energy.

This is way better than actual solarpunk.

Imagine Deuspunk: There WERE gods, maybe even some benevolent ones, but because they weren’t all powerful, they are now chained up in a reactor by the government backed corpos, begging for release. … Needless to say, every day the reactors are assaulted by the common people trying to reclaim their own freedom by unshackling the gods.

You what.

In my own universe, humanity fought the gods. We lost, but it wasn't a steamroll and we fought long and hard. We reached a Kardashev Type 4 Civilization and inhabited entire galaxies. The ruins of our civilization laid the foundation for everything after.

Necron posting will continue

YouTube Comment section named this Eclipse punk, which is cooler and it fits better.

Would the Horizon Series technically be naturepunk?

That’s more caveman cyberpunk

Based. But one small correction: Stole? We own the sun It’s there for us to spend whatever way we wish.

When The Sun Vanished becomes a purposeful and dystopian aesthetic:

i love this, looks great tbh

This goes unbelievably fucking hard holy shit

Oh hey, much less sci-fi, but I wrote a Solarpunk story on Royal Road. If you like the gritty, pseudo science feel of steampunk, give this a read.

@kuromiporeon_lg Yellowcake makes good and funny shit

Elon Musk in another twenty years or so.

Literally necrons

"We stole the sun from the sky" is such a metal line. Absolutely love this.
