Both 1 and 2 are amazing shooters that get even better on higher difficulties, the gunfights get fast and intense and the tension from playing is addictive. SoF3 is pure garbage, sadly

It's not over the top violence. Everything else is a pussy whipped, sanitised depiction of violence that does not show the consequences of actions.

The gore and dismemberment features in this game were mind blowing at the time, and only bested recently by Dead Island 2. It would be great if a studio like @NightdiveStudio remastered it for modern hardware.

I had this game with a bootleg polish translation made by some Russian/Ukrainian guy (nobody knows for sure who he was). Agent Jack was translated to agent Jacek (yatzek)

I like to have everything on Steam as well, most of the time when you are comparing the same game on Steam and GOG, the second one is better, with patches and all that is required to run smoothly on the newer systems.
