A beautiful video from Ernestos. It looks so peaceful doesn't it? But Syria is still at a dangerous time and we are very worried. Fighting and civil unrest is once again threatening our existence. Food for the cats and humans is doubled in price, while our donations have dropped dramatically - with many monthly donations being cancelled. Just because the regime has gone, it doesn't mean Syria is safe. It doesn't mean Ernestos doesn't still need your help. We are a very small organisation that relies on the generosity of donors. Very soon we will have hard decisions to make. At least the cats don't have our worries. For them their days are worry free. We wish it was the same for us. We are in 2026 where technology is advancing. It's unfortunate to see the juvenile punishment that we underwent during our time is still happening. It wouldn't hurt these teachers if they took the phone & punish the students accordingly then give them back when they close school. Majority of teachers are still shallow minded. You can even see from the ones we interact with on this app. But I don't blame them, it hurts seeing a student using the latest Iphone while you operate on Xiaomi & Infinix.

Stumbled on Vercel’s creative design team page and instantly fell in love with the design, animations, and micro-interactions. So I decided to take a shot at it, recreating the experience for a fictional company called Varxell, with my own spin on everything except the design itself + I didn’t touch any of their assets. Everything was hand-coded from scratch, and every single asset was recreated in Figma. It was a fun challenge.
