Anytime I see someone saying Solo Leveling clears Freiren, I immediately put them in the same category of people who only play games with a ball or gun in it. Could have an anime about jingling keys and so long as it has enough hype and aura farming they’ll eat it up.

This really does show a vast difference in intent. The Solo Leveling fans criticize the Frieren fight for being slow, but every movement has meaning. Tactics choreographed. The Solo Leveling clip is just random jumping around.

Because Freiren story progression was dreadfully slow, and it felt like an anime about daily walks with an Alzheimer's patient. The story is good, but it's pacing is what sank it lower than other anime.

Frieren is not for everyone it has much more meaning, depth better characters and a meaningful story while sl is all about hype moments overpowerd mc beating everyone in flashy way (aura farming) with good animation for majorities that's what they prefer it's easier to understand

Not really sure what people like so much about Frieren, most of the show nothing happened, up till last eps we could basically see only one spell.

Different crowd. The new watchers don’t appreciate story. Just flashy fights. Yes Solo Leveling had nice flashy fights but thats it. Remove the fights what’s to talk about. Majority of people who hate on Frieren didnt make it past the first episode.

The difference is that Frieren has characters, human emotions, philosophy and can show up when needed for a fight scene
