Chris Camillo explains how Bloom Energy is solving AI data center energy usage problems… “ $BE is one of the only companies in the world that has a method to essentially bring almost an infinite amount of energy to these data centers." And we won't get into all the technology, but they are now working with hyperscalers and they are a resource for energy that will allow a data center to get ramped up quicker. "So, even though it costs a little bit more money today to put an energy cell from Bloom, an energy box from Bloom, which are energy cells, it essentially takes things like natural gas, but instead of burning the natural gas, there is a chemical process that turns that natural gas into energy for the data center."

"Every studio, even A24, is thinking, 'How do we incorporate AI into what we are doing?'" "The signal that those creators sent with films like Obsession and others is that [using AI in filmmaking] can be done and it can be successful. Does it mean that every human is going away? No. I think that most folks will find ways to incorporate [AI] in ways that do not significantly degrade the value of the content that they're making." "But I think the sky's the limit. There are a LOT of companies out there right now trying to build AI-native game engines where users can turn words into games. The video below shows exactly what they're trying to achieve. It turns out "words -> game" is much harder than it looks... How do you make vehicles and other machines operate correctly in a sandbox where anything can happen? How do you support tool-based items when everything you grab requires different poses and mechanics? How do you make sure that everything created works coherently with everything else and doesn't break? How can multiple people be in one game at once and see the same chaos happening at the same time all in sync? What about physics? How do we make it run well on every device, even phones? It turns out generation was never the real problem, coherence was.

I try to see everything through the bigger picture. When every screen is red, the most useful thing I do is close the laptop and go for a walk in nature. It's how I hold my conviction when everything in me wants to panic. And I'll be honest with you, because pretending otherwise would be insulting. Crypto is painful right now. It is not the gift that keeps on giving that it once was, and all of us in it are feeling poorer and feeling like shit. I feel it too. But feeling bad and being wrong are not the same thing. Nothing in the actual mechanism has broken. The business cycle has already turned. Liquidity says crypto is running cold, not dead. And I still believe, deeply, that layer 1s are the place to be... Ethereum, Solana, Sui. I sat down and wrote my full thinking out today. My up to date thesis on crypto right now, why I'm still here, and where I think the real money gets made from here.

The company sitting on proprietary data becomes part of it without even knowing. This is what the Economic Singularity actually looks like from the inside. It means that we don’t assist ICE with their civil immigration enforcement. It means that we make clear that we are proud of our heritage as an immigrant city.
