Mayor Mamdani said Thursday that he wants all of New York State to subsidize the illegals being harbored in NYC. He also wants to raise taxes on the rich and corporations in NYC. Gov. Hochul has already rejected raising taxes, but Mamdani keeps pushing and demeaning her stance. NYC has wasted billions in recent years on illegals. Instead of helping deport them, Mamdani pledges to do everything he can to obstruct ICE from removing them from the US. Meanwhile, these illegals receive an insane amount of free benefits from NYC taxpayers. If NYC received more state funds, it would effectively subsidize illegals, since money is fungible. Deporting them would save NYC billions over time, free up housing and resources, and make the city much safer. As I’ve said before, it’s simple to fix NYC. We already know how. 📅🇧🇦 On this day in July 1995, the final stage of the Bosnian Genocide began when the besieged town of Srebrenica in eastern Bosnia was invaded by the Army of the Republika Srpska (VRS). Over the next five to six days, the VRS, headed by convicted genocidaire Ratko Mladić, murdered 8,372 Bosniaks. They deported thousands of Bosniak women and children, raping women en route. The VRS was the military wing of the genocidal "Republika Srpska" project, which aimed to create a Serb-majority entity in northern and eastern Bosnia. This project was funded and armed by Serbia's president, Slobodan Milošević. In Europe, Greece and Cyprus were two major allies of this project, helping Milošević circumvent economic sanctions against his regime. Srebrenica was a UN-declared "safe area" under UN Resolution 819 on 16 April 1993. This term had no legal definition and therefore stipulated no concrete measurement of defence. The results of this hollow declaration would become crystal clear in July 1995 when approximately 40,000 refugees fled Srebrenica on 11 July to the UN base in Potočari. A Japanese blogger criticized a Chinese influencer for being annoying in Nara, Japan. Here are my thoughts on this: First of all, the video wasn't even shot in Nara—it was taken at a zoo in China. Before pointing fingers, people should at least get their facts straight. I'll admit, I do find this girl's behavior somewhat annoying as well. But the truth is, it's not just China—countries all over the world have plenty of low-bar influencers who chase views with cheap, low-effort content. This is a global issue, not a problem unique to any one country. As for the deer in Nara, they have injured tourists from many different countries. Instead of putting all the blame on visitors, the local government should reflect on the situation and implement proper safety measures to prevent further incidents.
