I asked Sam Altman if he's worried about watermark removers on Sora. Everyone's seen the unfiltered Jake Paul videos with no watermark (generated by Sora) going viral on socials... So what's the pull for creators to enable face cameos with that risk? Sam's take: open source deepfake models are coming whether we like it or not, so releasing Sora early with guardrails helps society adapt before the flood hits. "One of the reasons we release technology like this is we see something coming and know that in some number of months or years it's gonna be widely available through open source models." Anybody will be able to make a video of you doing whatever they want with publicly available footage of you on the internet. Society will adapt... but one of the ways we've found to help society with these transitions is to release it early with guardrails so that society and technology have time to co-evolve. And that worked with text, I think video's going to be harder because video hits in a way that text doesn't always. But I think we'll learn to adapt, and we'll learn very quickly that there will be a lot of fake video of you on the internet, generated with no watermark by some open source model, and not that easy to trace. That's just gonna happen, so getting society inoculated to that probably has some value."

Wendigo movement - WIP Before feedback and some info in bulk: - It's heavily work in progress, including for animations, textures and models. - We know the mouse can take up too much space and can be annoying. We're actually working on it and will probably offer an option to only have the arms (but it looks cool on video, so we're keeping it for now). - Camera movement can be turned off. - Values like the jump are overpowered right now and don't represent the final values. - I know this will be asked: no inverted camera. It looks very cool, but it's really not a feature that's usable gameplay-wise (remember AvP2). - We play a LOT of asymmetrical games (AvP, NS2...) with spider wall movement, so we know our subject here - it's a bit of a "trust us, we know what we're doing" - We're sharing fewer leaks at the moment. It doesn't mean dev has slowed down, it's just for reasons I don't want to share to avoid starting a community war with some other games. - Dev is going very smoothly right now, no delays planned \o/

This is probably the most complex workflow I’ve ever built, only with open-source tools. It took my 4 days. It takes four inputs: author, title, and style; and generates a full visual animated story in one click in ComfyUI . I worked on it for four days. There are still some bugs, but here’s the first preview. Here’s a quick breakdown: - The four inputs are sent to LLMs with precise instructions to generate: first, prompts for images and image modifications; second, prompts for animations; third, prompts for generating music. - All voices are generated from the text and timed precisely, as they determine the length of each animation segment. - The first image and video are generated to serve as the title, but also as the guide for all other images created for the video. - Titles and subtitles are also added automatically in Comfy. - I also developed a lot of custom nodes for minor frame calculations, mostly to match audio and video. - The full system is a large loop that, for each line of text, generates an image and then a video from that image. The loop was the hardest part to build in this workflow, so it can process either a 20-second video or a 2-minute video with the same input. - There are multiple combinations of LLMs that try to understand the text in the best way to provide the best prompts for images and video. - The final video is assembled entirely within ComfyUI. - The music is generated based on the LLM output and matches the exact timing of the full animation. - Done! For reference, this workflow uses a lot of models and only works on an RTX 6000 Pro with plenty of RAM. My goal is not to replace humans, as I’ll try to explain later, this workflow is highly controlled and can be adapted or reworked at any point by real artists! My aim was to create a tool that can animate text in one go, allowing the AI some freedom while keeping a strict flow. I don’t know yet how I’ll share this workflow with people, I still need to polish it properly, but maybe through Patreon. Stop perma full clearing if you want to win games Video below explaining it but i am providing a transcript for anyone that doesnt speak english to translate or maybe that are deaf You are losing games by full clearing now. What I mean by this isn't that full clearing is inherently bad. What I mean is that lot of people get stuck thinking they just have to full clear the problem is once you get your first item, a lot of the time it's actually best to just not full clear. Because when you get your first item and especially when you're ahead, you should be looking to do things actively on the map. Because if you just full clear, you're giving the enemy essentially, breathing space. And if they're behind, they shouldn't have breathing space. If you're just full clearing and they're full clearing, you're giving They equal gold, which you never want to do when you're ahead, because any they get is going to be worth more than any gold you get, because of percentages. so whenever you're strong like this, you want to look for ways you can impact the map instead of full clearing. Especially since, in this scenario here, I can see my entire top side is warded. So even if I do get invaded and lose my camps, I at least know it's getting invaded. and I can account for that and do something else here. So, my bot lane just came out of base, fresh items, so they're also strong. So they're also looking to fight. Here I need to wait for them to push one more way before dragon. So I'm just going to take my red buff, and then we're going to look to do the dragon. And the reason this is so important is because we're both spiking. We just came from base. And the enemy has a very strong dragon fight. They have Lissandra, Rengar, and Ash Seraphine, which means Ash Seraphine should almost always have prio. So, if we don't take Dragon with this one timer, Ash Seraphine will always have prio, and then they have a strong 2v2 with the Slander Vengar. So, we have this one time to take it. If I was just to go full clear, my bot would never have prio ever again. This is our one window, and we're able to take the Dragon where my bot lane has prio. So instead of full clearing, I just go straight to the Dragon. And if there is a fight, I'm strong here because I'm on Item Spike, and so is my bot lane. So it's actually a decent fight. And then I can fast forward. So then Rengar ends up ganking my bot lane. I kill him. And then I'm recalling again because I have a decent buy here of 1500 gold. And it's going to be the same thing essentially here. I'm not just going to full clear. There's no reason to just full clear, right? I'm very strong. I have full item. I just bought 1500 gold worth of items. And top's kind of overextending here. So I'm just going to sprint straight top. And we don't end up killing, but we do get his ult and his flash. That's pretty worth. Could have honestly killed him if I Thresh missed his hook. It's a bit unlucky. But the point is. The point is to just not folklore. and I still get my camps guaranteed, and the most Rengar could take is just my raptors. I know he can't take my top side because I'm top side right. So the most I can lose is my raptors. And it's always worth it to just go for the kill top. If I lose my raptors now, it's earlier in the game, and it's a lot harder to break your full clear because you do get punished more. Because one, it's harder to kill people because have less items, less damage, less cooldown stuff like that. It's harder to farm it takes longer. So more camps, you're more your camps are sitting the longer it's going to take for you to clear them. And then, if you do lose camps early game, it snowballs way harder. So I'd say once you get your upgraded Smite, like your Rainbow Smite, like your first upgraded Smite, that's when it's a little bit easier to skip camps. You basically don't really want to break your full clear aside from that. But once you get your first item, for sure, you want to be skipping camps to look for proactive plays. You don't have to go for plays just to go for plays, but you should be looking for that. So I hope that was pretty helpful. And the enemy has a very strong dragon fight. They have Lissandra, Rengar, and Ash Seraphine, which means Ash Seraphine should almost always have prio. So, if we don't take Dragon with this one timer, Ash Seraphine will always have prio, and then they have a strong 2v2 with the Slander Vengar. So, we have this one time to take it. If I was just to go full clear, my bot would never have prio ever again. This is our one window, and we're able to take the Dragon where my bot lane has prio. So instead of full clearing, I just go straight to the Dragon. And if there is a fight, I'm strong here because I'm on Item Spike, and so is my bot lane. So it's actually a decent fight. And then I can fast forward. So then Rengar ends up ganking my bot lane. I kill him. And then I'm recalling again because I have a decent buy here of 1500 gold. And it's going to be the same thing essentially here. I'm not just going to full clear. There's no reason to just full clear, right? I'm very strong. I have full item. I just bought 1500 gold worth of items. And top's kind of overextending here. So I'm just going to sprint straight top. And we don't end up killing, but we do get his ult and his flash. That's pretty worth. Could have honestly killed him if I Thresh missed his hook. It's a bit unlucky. But the point is. The point is to just not folklore. and I still get my camps guaranteed, and the most Rengar could take is just my raptors. I know he can't take my top side because I'm top side right. So the most I can lose is my raptors. And it's always worth it to just go for the kill top. If I lose my raptors now, it's earlier in the game, and it's a lot harder to break your full clear because you do get punished more. Because one, it's harder to kill people because have less items, less damage, less cooldown stuff like that. It's harder to farm it takes longer. So more camps, you're more your camps are sitting the longer it's going to take for you to clear them. And then, if you do lose camps early game, it snowballs way harder. So I'd say once you get your upgraded Smite, like your Rainbow Smite, like your first upgraded Smite, that's when it's a little bit easier to skip camps. You basically don't really want to break your full clear aside from that. But once you get your first item, for sure, you want to be skipping camps to look for proactive plays. You don't have to go for plays just to go for plays, but you should be looking for that. So I hope that was pretty helpful. As some of you will have read/seen, we recently regained financial and editorial control of PSN (PlaySportsNetwork) from Warner Bros Discovery, which means some changes for me. I could never have imagined when I joined GCN at its inception in 2012 that we'd go from a small start-up YouTube channel, to multiple channels with many millions of subscribers, billions of views, to starting a successful subscription service that showed the biggest races in the world and a heap of amazing cycling documentaries. GCN’s journey with Eurosport and live racing is something I’ll never forget - we achieved a hell of a lot in a very short time. I think we made some really positive changes for cycling, and I will always be very proud of that. However, it's been a tough 8 months or so for GCN - the shuttering of GCN+, and now the website, has meant we've lost a lot of very talented, hard working colleagues who are incredibly passionate about the sport. The show must go on, though. GCN is still full of amazing people, and more importantly, supported by an incredible community of cyclists. I firmly believe that the next part of our journey will be more exciting than ever - I want to be part of, and instrumental in that next adventure, the next chapter. Unfortunately, that means I will no longer be on The Breakaway or Eurosport’s cycling commentary. It's a part of my job that I will dearly miss, but more than that, I will miss the fantastic group of people (on screen/mic and off) who I had the privilege of working with there for the last few years. I really couldn't have asked for a better team to spend three weeks at a time with. Thanks to all of you who have been so kind in your messages of support for GCN these last few months - it's really meant the world to everyone at the company. As an aside, I know a lot of you have been waiting for the GCN+ documentaries to find a new home, and the good news is that they'll be available again via a YouTube membership that we're setting up LATER TODAY. This Man is LOVED!!! I was fighting back tears as his Wife and children were speaking about him... What a Man! When friends and family were saying their own ńkọ́! Ha. Mr. Femi Laoye is a Man's Man! And, no, not just because they had to say all they said, it was because all they said were true. How did I know? Because of the peculiarities of the things that were said... And because I see and hear deeper than what is shown and said... But one thing many of them said in common was that he had been saying it for many years that he wants ṢọláAllyson when he would be 50. So, his Wife and other "gangsters" ganged up to make it happen.😁 For many years. Hmmm... So, I can be in the minds of people like that? Well, I know sha, but hearing and seeing it makes me more GRATEFUL. The way my essence is being used and channeled... Humbling... At some point he was reminding me of some lines of my old songs that I momentarily forgot...😊 As I was watching this video, the way he shouted "no way" and later removed his cap made me smile heartily. They got him! It entered! And I could see the surprise on his face till I left the event... That was someone he would never have imagined would be there even as he wanted it. From Nigeria to Canada.
