H. E. John Dramani Mahama does not know it all. Even if he did, he cannot do it all by himself. It’ll take the contribution of each and everyone of us to help build the Ghana that we want. So let’s support him in whatever way we can. Our country is at a crossroad now and so I don’t care if you’re NDC or you’re NPP. What we must focus on now as citizens of this country is the development of the country. If you’re indeed a Ghanaian who wishes well for Ghana, this is the time. This is the time to fold your sleeves and get your hands dirty. We’ve got a country to build. We’ve got a nation to set on the path of success not just for our generation but for those to come. The question for us as the African continent is how do we deal with that. We must deal with the root cause of this, where people leave their country’s en masse. It is not only African people, we have European and Asian people coming into our country. We must ask ourselves how did they go through the countries of departure without the correct papers. This is a global crisis, that requires government to formulate a response to this. What we can’t allow is for our country to be described as a xenophobic country. I met with Ghana’s Foreign Minister Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa and thanked him for this visit, the first in our countries’ history. We discussed specific areas where we can advance our partnership: agriculture, defense cooperation, and expanding programs for Ghanaian students to study at Ukrainian universities. Ghana will chair the African Union next year, and it is important that we make the most of this period to strengthen ties between Ukraine and Africa. We also held detailed discussions on how Russia recruits citizens of Ghana and other countries in Africa to participate in the war against Ukraine, and how we can counter this. Our teams will remain in contact on this issue. I am grateful to Ghana for its clear support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for backing our positions in UN General Assembly resolutions.

Can you imagine if the richest man in the world fully surrendered his life to Christ? It would be incredible. Elon has millions of followers hanging on his every word. If he declared Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life, the impact on the Kingdom would be enormous. The hardest part for him, like for most of us, is not accepting Jesus as Savior but submitting to Him as Lord. That means dying to self and giving everything over to God. We all face this daily battle. Every morning we must say, “Lord, this day belongs to You.” True Christianity is costly, but it is always worth it.

Today marks the beginning of what some call Pride Month. For Christians, we celebrate today like we do every day - that this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it. When we see the acronym LGBTQ, we don’t see sexual identities to celebrate, we see image-bearers of God who are doing what’s right in their own eyes and need the kind of love that points to Jesus and His truth. The truth is God made us male and female so that a man can leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. God IS love and He has the authority to define it. He calls homosexuality a sin, and holy marriage between a man and woman very good. The most loving thing we can do is agree with God. We can’t love others by affirming sin. This is my response to why we don’t celebrate Pride Month:

We know we all agree on women’s rights, safety of our children, gun rights and the well being of life. We have been complacent in thinking we can’t change it we can.
