You have to do the best job that you can. Some of the shots and some of the ways they probably could have used me, we had enough good players to where we could create a good shot in a different way. I didn't need to come off of a screen and be high usage in that way and shoot some of the tough shots that I'm shooting here, which I can make, but over there those may not be considered the most highest percentage compared to what we could get. So, that's with every good team. But it is good to be able to kind of show what I'm capable of and kind of get some of the recognition. It’s tough as a player when you know what you can do and you are asked to do something different and then people criticize you for it. That can be tough. AI models pushing the frontier are a growing challenge for cybersecurity. A few weeks ago, I asked Demis what's underhyped in AI right now and on his mind: "I'm very excited about this new agentic era and you can see us leaning into that" "But of course we've also gotta think about the security side of that, too" "You're seeing it a little bit with the cyber worries about some of the models, and I think that's just the beginning of some of the issues that we need to make sure we guard against" "So I think that's playing a little bit on my mind. Maybe this is the time now to try and push some standards and maybe international cooperation"

David Friedberg on the Nonprofit Scam: 90% Are Bullsh*t “ The definition of exempt activities is charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literacy, public safety, or fostering amateur sports competition, or preventing cruelty to children or animals. You tell me how the f**k 90% of what we call nonprofits today fall under that definition. We have completely f**king closed our eyes to the fact that organizations, regardless of political affiliation or social interest, have fundamental commercial and probably not aligned interests with the definition of a 501(c)(3), and we've allowed them all to get away with it for far too long. I don't think that this is a blue or red thing. I think that this is a thing where we let these organizations make it easy to get money, to hide the money, and to do whatever the hell they want with the money, and we need to stop it. And I think that it's an amazing opportunity right now for everyone to kind of reset the decks by cleaning all the sh*t up, and getting all of these organizations flushed, and make sure that any organization that wants to do whatever bullsh*t, nefarious things they want to do, by all means do it. But it's not a nonprofit and you shouldn't get a charitable donation deduction, and the government should not be putting money into these sorts of things. This is an entirely different sort of activity in the social order. And as a libertarian, I'm all for it, but I don't think that they should be tax exempt, and I don't think they should be getting government money, and I don't think that individuals should be benefiting from giving them money. And if we could fix all that shit up, I think a lot of these problems are going to go away.”

“In the wake of ‘The Boys,’ I signed a deal with Amazon. They wanted to develop something with me in mind, so I had a few meetings with different writers and different kinds of takes for shows. When I met Derek Haas, who created #Countdown and has written all 13 scripts, I just clicked with him immediately. He and I actually grew up in the same town; we went to neighboring high schools, so we had a lot in common right off the bat. But he's just a really great storyteller, and he comes from a long line of writing really kind of intense stuff. And so the character that he created, I just felt like I could tell that story in the world that he was also creating. That led to more meetings, and then that led to some outlines. I got to read the first script, and I just really liked where it was going. I liked the kind of world that he was setting it in, and I got excited about it. I was fortunate enough to be in a position to do that and be there from the beginning, the genesis of it all, 'cause that's not normal. For most actors, everything is kind of already cooked, and then they come in - they get cast in a role that's already happening. I was kind of, not involved creatively, but I was already on the train from the beginning in the station, so that was nice. And there are some twists and turns with this show; there are some big reveals, so to speak. So I'm excited for you guys. I'm excited to get it done - we're about halfway done with the season right now. Eric Burlison: "...the cost of pensions, their medical benefits, you know, etc. I think that, first and foremost, you got to make it right to those people. That will demonstrate to everybody else who wants to come forward that it's a safe place to come into. "And then I think what what Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is leading on is fantastic, in that making sure that the administration knows that there may be some times where these individuals who were working, you know, they were promoted into a system or a program. Sometimes...they're now inheriting things where they, where they realize, well, there's crimes involved in this. "And so, you know, they're kind of put in an awkward situation. Do they do their patriotic duty? What do they do? I think that providing some level of amnesty for them to be able to come forward is very, very important. And then, I finally think, also, that they need to waive the non-disclosure agreements on this topic. Particularly just waive it completely for anything related to the knowledge of life that's outside, you know, non-human intelligence. I mean, I don't see why we possibly should even allow that to be a top secret thing. "And so, if there's anything that's related to that, it should be waived. I think that that's what our ask is of this administration, as well as to continue digging into the private sector. I think that a lot of this information is in the in the hands of either the...or the archives of these federally-funded research and development centers and then further some of the some of the prime subs (subcontractors) that have been working on this topic. "And so I think that it's gonna take making it clear that to our major companies that we do business with, or do business with the United States, that it's okay to come forward. And I think that we're gonna have to have a discussion if they do have - if they're reverse engineering stuff that they got because it was from non-human intelligence - we need to make sure that we can have that conversation about intellectual property, so that those are the next steps."
