'This show is coming to an end' I've completely lost count of how many great shows are ending, and how many talented presenters are lost to Local Radio audiences with more announcements to come. The shameful destruction of BBC Local Radio continues apace as listeners are ignored.

Was the loss of so many well-connected and experienced #BBCLocalRadio presenters really part of the plan? Or has it been an unintended consequence? Either way it is delivering self-imposed carnage to a key PSB service - and for so little gain. Good luck on the other side Andrew.

I am truly sorry that wonderful folk like you are not going to be on the airwaves. I know things have to change but can’t quite get my head around the current decisions made upon high within the BBC. I wish you all the best - and thank you X 🤩

So very very sorry Andrew. I have written so many times to complain about the changes to “local” radio. Sadly it’s all fallen on deaf ears. BBC are making a huge mistake. Wishing you well and hope that we will hear you back on the radio very soon
