Third-party listing sites are facing new backlash over how vehicle prices are presented. Andrew Wright, Managing Partner at Vinart Dealerships, explains why conditional pricing and deal ratings are distorting customer trust. "It's hard to log on to one of the big third-party listing companies in the New York market and find a listing that is not just chock-full of all of these conditional incentives, rebates, whatever you want to call them. All it's doing is, number one, contributing to a very poor customer experience because they can't walk into the showroom and buy the car for what they saw it online for. "If you have ambitions to be a Professor at Yale, Harvard, or one of these big institutions, the way you do that is mostly by getting funding for research. It's by getting a lot of publishing - a lot flying around the world to talk about something. You need all of these things to bolster your reputation as an international expert in this area. Now, the best way to do that, at least in psychiatry but I suspect in other areas of medicine, is actually to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to run clinical trials. They write the publications for you - most of it, they do a lot of the grunt work, they give you the protocols, and then, essentially, they fund you and fly you around the place. I used to remember, as a junior doctor, looking up to the Professors. And they would say, 'These drugs are safe and effective. There's not a lot of problems there.' ...What I've seen more and more is that they've been compromised, and that they have incentives tied to the money and to career advancement. That means that they can't be as forthright as they ought to be about these things. And it's gotten to a problem where these are the Professors who are training the doctors who are setting the tone for what is acceptable care out there. This mechanic says that if it wasn’t for American made cars, he doesn’t know if they would be in business. He points out that all the cars currently in the bays are American made. He says they work on all makes and models but it’s the American made cars the make up the majority of their business. He says that the only foreign cars in the parking lot belong to himself and other people who work there. He says if you want a car that lasts, buy a Toyota. I had a Honda Civic once and got over 500K miles on it. Had a Nissan and got well over 300K miles on it. I have owned Ford, Chevy and GM cars. I’ll be honest, they didn’t last like the foreign cars. I do think American trucks are better than foreign trucks but why can’t we make good cars that last ? What do you think? Do you think he’s right? Are you a die hard Ford Chevy or GM person? Do you own a foreign car or an American made car?

People that are being snatched up by ICE are not allowed to call anyone letting them know do this vehicles are left with the windows broken out and their cars still running with their keys in them and all their personal property! Some had dogs left in them & one a young child!
