Some replies on my previous post mentioned it’s normal for performance to drop when there are lots of alpha effects/particles on screen. But in this broken game, you don’t need a lot, just a single roll can tank the FPS even on a 4070 super. 1/2 #MGSDelta

More games need to take inspiration from Quake's impact effects. It's so simple, a mesh rotated to face the normal of the impacted surface. Can always add particles and all afterwards on top of it, but this way you get a sharp visual.

Saw a few comments about when you use FSD you just sit there like a zombie not paying attention but it’s the complete opposite. When I use FSD my situational awareness is higher than anyone driving manually. I don’t have to hyper focus on a number on the screen or keeping my car between two lines and can focus on everything else around me. I’m surprised how distracted people are while they operate a motor vehicle.
